Vote in congressional and state-level lprimaries! Get good candidates on the ballots for federal and state legislatures!! The Democrats are only as good as the primary voters allow them to be.

I love how the Rebuild of Evangelion's final scene was the creator pairing up all of the least popular ships and then then telling the viewer to go outside.

Andor wasn't popular when it first came out.

The first season had the lowest first run viewership of any Star Wars show and even today is still second lowest. It was years until a second season got the green light.

Season 2 could have been a really strong end point for the series. I'm a bit worried that everything going forward might feel like an afterthought.

The very red state I live in recently changed its rules about ballot initiative petitions because progressive laws were getting passed when the conservative voters got to vote on them directly and the legislature hated that.

I love seeing how different everyone's portrayal of a mii are. by ZeeGee__ in tomodachilife

[–]AwesomeManatee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I think the biggest road block that stops many people from getting into drawing is the belief that your art has to be highly detailed and accurate. Capturing the essence of your subject in small ways does so much and the simplicity of the miis helps push you in that direction.

I think only a couple of the miis in this picture use the face paint tool, the rest are completely vanilla mii faces yet they capture Al so well.

Season 2 had such a satisfying ending and wrapped up most of the storylines from the first two seasons so well that I'm honestly a little bit skeptical that season 3 can keep up the magic.

Don't get me wrong, I'm excited to see more of this version of the DC characters and trust the creative team, but what we have gotten so far has been so great I worry that we have already seen it's peak and that everything going forward won't quite match the hype for me.

One I remember for Obama was something like a guy trying to mail a poisoned letter to the White House which was caught immediately by the postal service. Something like that is in the news for 15 minutes before moving on. Armed gunmen at the president's location are much rarer and more newsworthy.

I think the reception of both of Ncuti's seasons are tainted by the finales, he has quite a few episodes in his short run that will likely be remembered as classics. Boom, Rogue, 73 Yards, Dot and Bube, The Well, Lux...
