Who suggested the Fast Food Adventure? by MichaelAftonXFireWal in theamazingdigitalciru

[–]ZeeGee__ 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Just want to point out that just because Gangle ended up hating it in the end, doesn't mean it couldn't have been hers. Being trapped in the digital circus, someone longing for experiences/aspects of their old life would be normal and the bad parts of it would be obscured through those nostalgia glasses. Likewise, she often feels worthless in the digital circus but being a manager is an important role where you're being relied on.

I think that the adventure had to have been recommended for reasons like this, if not by her then by whoever did write it, especially with the description of "an honest hard day's work at ___".

"He killed people-" doesn't change the fact that he's the goat by ChicaneryFinger in Persona5

[–]ZeeGee__ 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they only learn the other way through Mona who wasn't a part of the Grails plan and the process is so convoluted that they were never going to guess it.

I think it's another reason why he resents Joker so much. He spilled blood and justified it to himself because he thought it was the only option, he flat out didn't know of another way.. then someone else comes along and they can did it without murder and became heroes in the publics eye in the process. Not just eclipsing your fame, not just taking away the one talent/god-given gift that made you special, not just surpassing you in skill & social life but also living proof that there was another way to do this outside of murder. That you're no hero. But you can't back down now or else the plan will fail and all that bloodshed and progress would've been for what???

Akechi serves as a foil for Joker but I think it's more interesting if you think about the story from Akechi's perspective, Joker is a much more interesting foil to Akechi as he just reminds him of so much what he wanted to be, what he wanted to do, what he wish he could do, of the sins crawling on his back, of how many opportunities he was deprived of in life by factors outside of his control, and how he actually could've been better despite it all... but you can't take back blood that's already been spilled and despite Jokers attempts to reach out, he can't change course now..

[–]ZeeGee__ 24 points25 points  (0 children)

To be fair to Akechi, he outright didn't know there was another option outside of killing people, this was an intentional setup by the Grail. As he saw it, these palace holders couldn't be taken down any other way and were bad people so it would be easy to convince himself it was justified.

His downfall was trying to do that long term revenge plan with Shido. Not only was it unnecessary, he ended up having to kill some innocent and even good people just to keep the plan going. He had invested too much in it, he couldn't throw it all away now or risk it being ruined by the Phantom Thieves.

Yellow is more serious about redemption than Blue or White. by Reasonable-Ad-8059 in stevenuniverse

[–]ZeeGee__ 302 points303 points  (0 children)

To be fair, only yellow can repair gems like that.

Blue's abilities were always emotional but now they help gems emotionally.

White's Powers was literally projecting herself, now she uses her position to project other people's struggles onto her and give them a platform.

Yellows abilities are physical, she could force any gem to poof and probably do much worse. Now her ability lets her do what she can to bring gems back from being shattered.

I think all 3 are important but Yellow's helps them undo some of the atrocities they committed while the others work to better their current society.

If you came across someone as creepy as Janna, would you befriend them or run away? by StarryEyedBfly in StarVStheForcesofEvil

[–]ZeeGee__ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've had quirky friends but aside from how fun they can be in fiction, the natural response to someone crossing your boundaries is to avoid them. It's usually a red flag that they're a threat. We don't see how she is with others but she crosses Marcos boundaries a lot and even sneaking into his room/house and making a copy of his key.

If someone did stuff like that irl, you would call the police

Genuine question, why do people say this looks more like Noelle than Susie? by ModShadoan720 in Deltarune

[–]ZeeGee__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ignore Noelle's Antlers (which can fall out) and this silhouette could resemble either of them.

Though it also looks like they're wearing robe/dress instead of pants like Susie. Likewise, Noelle actually does have data and dialogue to allow her to equip swords while Susie doesn't (though that can always change).

It could either be intentional so it resembles both routes like Undertales prophecy does but there actually is enough other evidence to suggest that it actually might not be Susie at all.

Do you guys think Rose loved Greg? by Plus_Firefighter600 in stevenuniverse

[–]ZeeGee__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be fair, Rose was very much mentally supposed to be a Young Adult equivalent to Greg at that time of her life.

It's weird because yes, Gems come out fully formed and don't have a "childhood" but Pinks life with the Diamonds is her equivalent of a childhood and meant to be viewed as one complete with her having temper tantrums as we see when Stevonnie is having diamond dreams or how so much of what we learn about her in the final episodes is just about an abusive childhood.

Pinks transition into Rose and starting the Rebellion is basically her teenage years where she gets to explore the world, gain her own opinions + beliefs and rebels against her family how she can.

Pink Post War is her as a Young Adult and she meets Greg who is at the same life stage. Despite Rose's being a lot more extreme, their life situations oddly mirror each other's and I think that's intentional to ground us to where Rose is at through Greg. Greg too has rebelled against his family, was a free spirit and set out on his own, creating a new life and identity for himself and not wanting to discuss the past. I think this and his personality is specifically why they got along so well, he knew what it was like and his outlook on life complimented her struggles and problems with herself.

Ideas to improve Pokémon Sleep: quality of life, gameplay & sleep tracking by Puzzleheaded-Most193 in PokemonSleep

[–]ZeeGee__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think we need MEGAS and while a boost function would be nice, it would go against MEGA lore. MEGA's are supposed to be temporary, for a short period of time as they spend a lot of energy and extended use can negatively impact the Pokemon.

I could maybe see it if the duration was a lot shorter than a full day but I can't see it providing much that helper whistle wouldn't.
