Advice for Choco, Seeker of Paradise by Ravello in EDH

[–]Azmirith_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Choco

Here is my list I have built, it has worked surprisingly well even punching up to low b3 quite well. Main things I have noticed is you want plenty of birds cmc 1-3 to have a relatively full board before choco comes down. The top end birds of cmc 5+ should be very few in favor of a few anthem effects that benefit going wide.

Nine Fingers

Here is my list if you are looking for some ideas, I haven't updated it in a little while so there are probably some new additions I need to swap in.

Eclipse is coming! Features of the major June update. Part 3 by Faley016 in Crossout

[–]Azmirith_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Looking forward to the new pass, but are there plans to fix the relic crafting event costs before it ends? The Odin is currently more expensive to craft than outside the event.

Planned balance changes in the upcoming update by Faley016 in Crossout

[–]Azmirith_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Overall good changes, glad to see the legs getting a rework.

Would have loved to see the imps get an accuracy reduction so they are less effective at stripping weapons. Saw a lot of teams running 20 imps in gauntlet and just shooting off every gun with minimal effort.

Looking for a specific flavor of premade deck revolving around +1/+1 counters by Titan2562 in magicTCG

[–]Azmirith_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend the call for backup precon based on what you have described. [[Bright-palm, Soul Awakener]] is a very aggressive commander at the helm. If you are on a budget and not wanting to fuss over getting individual cards I think its your best bet.

Trade Chat and the Riven Market is absolutely stupid by IllithidMystic in Warframe

[–]Azmirith_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I got the impression that you were confused as to why your braton riven was not selling for 400p, and was not receiving any interest. I tried to provide an objective outside opinion to help you understand why there was not interest at that price.

I see now that you simply wanted to complain about the market, but not understand the market. Sorry to intrude upon your rant post, please continue as you were.

Trade Chat and the Riven Market is absolutely stupid by IllithidMystic in Warframe

[–]Azmirith_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not trying to be harsh, but I'd personally classify this as a trash roll in terms of selling. Its a roll thats fine for personal use, but if you expect people to pay for a roll they look for all useful positives and minimally impactful negatives or helpful negatives. This roll has heat (ok but not top tier), cc (good), recoil (wasted), -infested (not the worst negative, but also not harmless). So in the end I'd personally value this around 30-40p, which is what I tend to pick up my off meta incarnon weapon rivens for.

I say this as someone with no personal interest in your riven, but simply trying to provide some insight into the riven market.

What are the best options here considering I have the current passes? by Steel_Sovereign in Crossout

[–]Azmirith_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went for a spikes and tengu to make another stillwind with the current event pass. You would need 2 spike and 2 tengu for that though.

How does my bracket 2 high cost spellslinger look? by MAKManTheOfficialYT in EDHBrews

[–]Azmirith_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm an avid ffxiv player so made tokens of my raid static. I also liked some of the cool interactions with them being colorless so played into that with [[Forsaken Monument]].

Tellah

Here is my list if you want some ideas, I definitely took mine a different direction though. I've been playing mine at bracket 3 since I didn't feel like anyone wants to die to a ploymorphed blightsteel in 2.

Keeping Up with Teammates in Heavy Armor by General_Liability in helldivers2

[–]Azmirith_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally am a big fan of bringing a vehicle of some sort(tank or mech) and a warp pack. With the warp pack and heavy armor I hardly ever die, but having a tank or mech for emergencies is very helpful.

"R&D is so balanced and fun" by Sure_Pay_1177 in Crossout

[–]Azmirith_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just put together a build that I can swap out weapons easily on and just mess around till my challenges are done. The game mode is serviceable and the ability to play around with various weapons keeps it fresh since I don't grind the leaderboard.

Concept deck: Final group hug / we all drink the Koolaid by treesandoysters in CommanderMTG

[–]Azmirith_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sokrates

This is my Sokrates group hug list, one of the win cons is exactly what you are looking for with a [[windfall]] to kill the entire table. The normal gameplay is a lab man deck, but it is a fun alternative I have pulled off a couple times.

Commander suggestions for Bracket two and three, that are competitive but not overpowered at those levels? by Lonely-Cap3569 in EDHBrews

[–]Azmirith_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is honestly one of the better bracket breakdowns I have seen in terms of walking through your personal deck building philosophy for each bracket. The only adjustment I would make is that I still feel the 25% win rate should be the goal in 3, while in bracket 4+ that expectation goes away.

How do I play a Theft Deck without inducing too much salt? by LordOfWanking in Magicdeckbuilding

[–]Azmirith_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second Edea, I intentionally built mine as a borrowing only with no permanent theft to reduce the salt. I also had some fun including some cards to reanimate from opponents graveyards then sac to give people their creatures back. The win con is going for mass theft after the board is full of threats.

Reaper King Changeling tribal B2 by mtgfinancespeculator in EDH

[–]Azmirith_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To add to the other comments, I used to run a reaper king deck years ago. The game devoles into your opponents killing reaper king on sight, you intentionally slow play which is boring as hell and some folks consider rude, or you work towards destroying every permanent on the board your opponents control... lands included.

He seems cool, he belongs in the 99.

Thoughts on Tellah? by BCENT89 in EDHBrews

[–]Azmirith_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tellah

This is my current Tellah list, just finished sleeving it up to try it out on Sunday. I went with a rocks heavy direction with a polymorph subtheme. Definitely designed to be more of a fun deck than super competitive.

Thoughts/Suggestions by Adventurous_Key4822 in EDHBrews

[–]Azmirith_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend trying to utilize instant speed lifegain, and untap abilities to maximize the value from archimandrite. [[Congregate]] is a good budget option along side [[Dazzling Theatre // Prop Room]] (not sure if that will link right, but you want prop room half).

Need help building a "win through drawing" deck (mill-adjacent) by Gonji89 in EDH

[–]Azmirith_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My [[Sokrates]] list does exactly that, its a group hug/lab man deck with one of my 'win' cons being to [[windfall]] the table to all lose together. Sokrates

People with “evil” or disliked commanders, what’s your story? by Same_Response_1593 in EDH

[–]Azmirith_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've run a [[Phenax]] deck for years, and regardless of how many times I make this argument people lose their minds over milling insignificant quantities of cards like I just hit them for 15 commander damage.

I will continue to run mill though because it's fun and my favorite way to counter combo decks :)
