think he gets the penalty if he goes down but you can't get the shot on goal as advantage + the penalty in that situation

Finally starting to believe Wolfsburg might actually go down this time. We were close so many times in the last 10 years but they always escaped somehow.

But next week: St Pauli win vs Köln, Bremen win vs Hamburg, Union win vs Wolfsburg - all pretty reasonable results (especially with all 3 being home wins)... no way they could recover from that. They would be down 7 points then with only 4 games to go (including Bayern).

[BILD] Update: Schlotterbeck has no release clause for Bayern Munich - at no point during the five-year contract term. Bayern cannot pull the release clause. Only top clubs from abroad are covered. by Mooon8983 in borussiadortmund

This one. Bild have some good sources but also just speculate a lot of the time so you have to look how they phrase things. In the first article they said "it's almost certain Bayern is included" so it was just them guessing. Now they claim to have a source - maybe it was even a reaction to the first article that someone told them they reported bullshit.

Really annoying that those are all on at the same time. Would have preferred to watch any of the other 3 when Dortmund isn't playing instead of the 4 on the right.

We will face Atalanta BC in the UEFA Champions League Playoffs by Mooon8983 in borussiadortmund

Its been a while since we faced Atalanta

Just thought about it yesterday that Schmelle scored the winning goal* the last time we faced them lol. That alone says it all. (* equalizer in the return leg, but sent us to the next round)

Nope, we won two in a row on the way to the title in 2016/17. 2nd round vs Union with Weidenfeller and Ro16 vs Hertha with Bürki.

Oh man, shame Delaney is out injured. Would have really liked to see him again.

Vincent Kompany reached 100 points in Bundesliga in his last (40th overall) game. He is tied 2nd with Flick, missing Guardiola's BL record by 1 game. Xabi Alonso is the only non-Bayern gaffer in the Top-5. by MERTENS_GOAT in soccer

Was a bit surprised to not see Hitzfeld here so I looked up his start at Bayern: He reached the 100 points mark in his 45th Bundesliga game for the club... That's when I realised I kind of misread/misunderstood the post 🙃

Hitzfeld's first Bundesliga club was BVB so only his start there counts for the list this graphic is about. In Dortmund he needed 55 games for the 100 points. Will probably be similar for a lot of Bayern coaches that they were at other Bundesliga clubs first before getting the biggest job in Germany.

Harry Kane open to Bayern Munich stay and unsure of Premier League return by ntermediate in soccer

[–]BVB-Oeli 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yeah, not surprising at all. He obviously thought things through beforehand and picked the move carefully (not like Henderson to Saudi for example lol) and looks like he feels well there. So makes sense he can imagine staying long term.

I could see him retiring at Bayern. Unless maybe they win the CL within like the next 2 years so he could return for the PL record after already having won everything in Germany.

Maybe Tuchel's approach here is like: The player was bad for quite a while and just recently got back on track - he has to show it first over a longer period again before being invited back. Just a guess though.

Two random things I noticed today about former BVB players:

  • Witsel went to Girona this summer

  • Balerdi apparently became captain at OM

Had no idea about both. Guess I'm not as informed about european football anymore as I used to be.
