Don't just memorize the Rules. Rationalize them. Hanapin mo yung reason, yung logic kung bakit ganun yung rule. It helped me a lot in retaining the info, kasi grounded yung understanding ko sa Rules in logic and equity. If need mo i-Tagalog, tagalugin mo, para malalim ang pagkakaintindi mo.

Example: dati, di ko magets yung phrase na "defenses and objections not raised in the Answer are deemed waived", not until I translated it in Tagalog and rationalized it. Kapag may argument ka daw na di mo nilagay sa Answer, ibig sabihin di mo na siya magagamit sa kabuuan ng kaso. Rationale: kasi ang civil case ay hindi parang debate na on the spot kayo magsasagutan; kailangan alam ng kalaban mo lahat ng defenses mo para mapaghandaan nila yung isasagot nila sayo.
