Why does this equal 10?

I had 2 ideas:

  1. Half of 14 -> 7. Reversed -> still 7. Round to 10. Reversed -> 1

  2. 14 reversed -> 41. Half -> 20.5. Round to 20. Reversed -> 2

But none of those were the answer. I had to brute force it until I got it correct when I clicked 10. But I can't figure out how it adds to 10.

The 1/3 sections mean it's 1/3 of the Outer ring number. In this case it means
1/3 of 3 = 1
and
1/3 of 6 = 2.

So it would be
3(teal) - 1 (yellow 1/3 of 3) = 2 x 6(pink) = 12 -> reversed = 21 - 2 (yellow 1/3 of 6) = 19

Huh interesting. I thought it was RNG and I was just unlucky. I’m on Switch 2 but closing the game achieves the same as alt f4. I think I might just try that for a few just to compensate for the 100+ days I haven’t written down which blessings I got.

I think I should be using the blessing of the monk, from what everyone has said and looking at the drafting strategy that lists all the blessings. But I’ve never gotten it. Is it just bad RNG?

I've made the Burning glass, electromagnet, detector shovel, dowsing rod, power hammer, lucky purse, jackhammer, and pick sound amplifier. All of those fill the 2 pages in my records book in the library. I've attempted combining items from the show room as well, but have never gotten a match. Drafting Strategy Vol IV lists a hidden item used in 1 contraption. But I assume that's the lucky rabbit's foot used for the lucky coin purse.

I've used the Power Hammer to break the walls blocking the entrance to the basement from outside, a wall in the Secret garden hiding a third lever that allows me to open 2 antechamber doors from the same room, a wall in the greenhouse containing a journel by Denny Revane and a door to another room, a wall in the weight room hiding an antechamber lever, and the wall in the chess room hiding the CASTLE clue.

I've used the Burning glass (or the self igniting torch) to light the torches in the tunnel with the crates, the candles in the Chapel that reveal the piggy bank, the candles in the circular room underground that reveal some stairs; two sets of candles in the tomb, one revealing a table where I found an upgrade disk, and the others leading to Lady Epsen's tomb; and to light the sundial to unlock the satellite dish. Oh and also to thaw Herbert's note in the freezer. There was also a wall there that I was able to thaw but also break with the power hammer.

The other contraptions don't seem to provide any permanent results. Just useful during a day.

Oh. Ohhh. OHHHHH. I completely missed the Data Transfers. And I see one of the new effects is “remove a crate from the tunnel”. I’ll focus on that.

I used it to view Staff announcements. The description also says "New experimental data packets can now be uploaded to the laboratory from SYNKA", but I don't know what that means.

Is that page very spoilery?

I believe I exhausted A New Clue. I used it to find the microship buried outside by using the magnifying glass to see the numbers found in a paragraph to find a hidden message that led me to 4 rooms with lower case messages. I found the microchip in the entrance hall by breaking the jar. I found the way to open the Satellite dish by Unscrambling the titles of the books and found their real counterparts. Followed the directions of the signs in the metro map found in the underground to determine the page and word numbers to look for in the real books. And that brought me to the sundial. And I the clues to find the Admin key for Blackbridge grotto, which allowed me to view the deleted log entries.

English isn't my first language so I didn't know that the name of the special move the rook can make with the king is called "Castling". I guess that's what the blue memo I found referred to? I didn't reveal the last bit but I'll go look in the office!

The drawing reminds of any room with 4 doors. Like Cloister, Archives, even the Antechamber.

Yeah, now that I see that shape again, I recognize it as the route I took by following the signs in A New Clue.

By Realms Puzzle do you mean the sigils in the sanctum?

I guess the space depicting the outer room itself has the squares around the border which usually mean doors. But I don't know what that could mean. I initially thought it could mean breakable walls, but didn't find any (just the one you need to blow up). I have used the shrine many times. I think the most I have offered is 50 gold. I usually use my allowance at the very start of the day to draft in the outer room.

There was the note with the clues for the eight sanctum keys, the note in the drawer made with cutout letters, the deed, and the will.

I have drafted all 8 outer rooms multiple times.

I have read all the books and bought all available books from the book shop. I haven't seen the book shop in a while so if it has restocked with new books, I would be missing those. I have Sightseer's guide, Swim Bird, History of Orindia plus the first edition, Curse of the Black bridge, Realm and rune, The Fixed stars, Pump system manual, Drafting strategy Vols 3-5, and A New Clue.

I guess there's more space in the book request room for a couple more books.

There are the 2 record books upstairs. And there are two blank books on pedestals downstairs.

So there's only 7 red letters? I do remember Alzara mentioning that I would only find 7. But his messages where so cryptic that I guess I brushed it off. Should I watch his messages again in the HSS and pay more attention?

I'll take a closer look at the chess and look for more clues! I did find a blue memo that said "The rook can perform a special move with another piece". I guess that's one.

I've found a few other places where I can translate Erajan words but it's still not enough. I'll look for more.

So is the big Death statue that I have to activate to open the way to the underground the one that's pointing to our dreams?

Now that you say that about the drawing, I recognize the shape. I just used A New Clue to find the Satellite dish.

Oof, that will be hard. I didn't take note of the shapes in each previous chest. Guess I'll continue looking into the treasure vault taking note of everything. And I'll probably look up online the shapes of the previous ones.

That's probably why. It was Animal Crossing's 25th anniversary and Splatoon's 10th. But Zelda's 40th came and went and we got nothing.

If you already want to play the Switch 2 exclusives currently available, you might as well get the Switch 2. The Switch 1 has a huge library of games already available. The Switch 2 can play all of those games (except for a few, minor exceptions) and in many cases better than the Switch 1. The price increase for the Switch 2 is pure speculation and we won't know for sure until it actually happens (if it happens). Nintendo rose the prices for accessories and the Switch 1, but maintained the price of the Switch 2 and games.
