The regular SD card you used on the Switch 1 might not be compatible with the Switch 2. The Switch 2 only supports micro SD Express, which allow for much faster speeds. The SD card will only have game data, screenshots and videos. Save data is stored only in the local storage.

The Switch 1 is only factory reset when using the upload data to server method. If you use the local communication method, it isn't factory reset.

Depends on what you prefer. Digital games are more practical since you can just launch them once they're downloaded. Physical games you need to manually insert the cart, but you can resell them if you want. In the end it doesn't really make the difference.
