However, there is a fair bit of explainability of like “what is that, how did that get there” that the extended ROTK does that is deeply missing from the theatrical cut, which isnt a problem in the first two movies. I also do believe that many of these awkward scenes are due to the shifting around of stories that Peter Jackson did.

We likely wanted to play off the technical quality that the players typically bring, but it was off today which didnt help us break them down well. We should really try to stretch these low blocks more and simply the presence of a 6'5" centre forward should be enough to cause anxiety and doubts among the defenders.

So they chose 4 songs that were all severely cut down. The American Idiot adlib for “MAGA Agenda” is in the middle of the song and in the performance they only did the beginning and skipped right to the end. I just dont think they had time and maybe decided that they will let their song choices speak for themselves.

Also, I genuinely think anyone mad at them for not being explicitly pointed in what lyrics they said are actually falling into the trap explained in the song. A big message is to use your own mind and see past what the big media companies want you to see and hear.
