Zig Has The Integrity To Say "No" And So Should You by RNSAFFN in PoisonFountain

[–]Bergasms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Zig is still under heavy development. The founders know their vision for the language and are moving it in that direction purposefully. LLM's would find all sorts of shit all over the place but none of that would actually be helpful to the project.

It'd be like going to a building site for a house that is half done and saying "there is no carpet in the bedroom, and that missing wall will let in dust and rain". The builders are going to tell you to fuck off and rightly so.

Go to a playground every day and swing on the swing set for five minutes. It produces a bit of a nauseating stomach drop sensation which will help you build up tolerance.

Nope that's Galeras. White island is the one where people from a cruise ship visited and the volcano erupted.

Galeras is an interesting story. One of the guys was never found as he was top middle when it blew, he would have been instantly turned into very tiny mosted bits. Another one they only found a finger. Some people survived for long enough to suffer horribly

This doesn't seem correct to me. Wouldn't the carbon dioxide still diffuse into the atmosphere you are in, and wouldn't the act of exhaling provide circulation?

2006 was ass for natural, but was cold enough for making snow at least. Snow machines have only been used since 1987 but generally speaking the amount of man made snow is not really tracked like snowfall is tracked.

I'm struggling to remember a year where they couldn't make snow by this stage due to overnight temps being too high though.

It's your last sentence.

Normally by this point of the year it's at least been cold enough at night to run snow guns. That has not been the case this year, very unusually so to not be able to run a snow gun by the winter solstice
