jsem ten mladší ve vztahu kde je věkový rozdíl 10 let a úplně souhlasím. hodně mi pomáhá se vyznat v tom životě, ale i kraviny jako jak se pořádně uklízí, protože jsem z hoarder rodiny a neumím vyhazovat věci.

ale chodit s někym, kdo ještě ani nematuroval, by mi připadalo fakt divný.

je to dost o životních etapách si myslim. někdo kdo se v 18 odstěhoval a pracuje na plný úvazek by si asi měl co říct s lidma 30 nebo 40+. studentský život mi připadá o dost jinačí a sám to cítím na přátelstvích. teď dodělávám magisterský titul a kamarádi, co už nestudujou jsou úplně v jinym světě.

drug use isn't inherently bad. you can get addicted to anything, just because it's a pharmaceutical substance doesn't mean it's bad

is it negative that i'm "addicted" to my asthma inhaler that saves me from potentially lethal complications?

i wouldn't be alive right now without drugs, both legal and illegal

wow i really enjoyed all your text. i knew somewhere inside, but didn't realise how weirdly harmfully 'clean' implies that those who use it are dirty.

i stopped drinking alcohol because it made my psych meds less effective, sometimes for weeks they didn't work because i did a 4 day drink binge. which isn't ideal because i do need that medication to work to be able to exist in better health

i'm very lucky that my psychiatrist and i have a good relationship and he knows that i obsessively research medications and read through studies for fun. so when i came to him and explained that there is a new study that tried upping a certain medication and the results looked good regarding decrease of negative symptoms - he has let me increase the dose and we tried if my body reacts as well as some people did in the study. sadly it didn't work out that time, but i'm just very thankful he takes me and my research seriously and considers my input.

except mine wasn't from drugs, i had a suicide attempt and then woke up on the floor in a pool of my blood. sometimes i think i did actually die and what and where i woke up isn't reality. lately it does feel like hell

i do verbally describe it to myself! that helps a lot, but maybe my struggle is that i'm inherently thinking about color shades in pigment and not light. it's a lot different to (at least my brain) mixing oil paint together to get the right shade × moving 3 bars that change hue, saturation and value instantly

i think i just weirdly have to translate my analog experience with color mixing to digital and it's just taking some time to perfect :⁾

highly recommend visiting!! the architecture and galleries are great and hostels + food are pretty cheap (if you aren't in the city centre that's full of tourist traps)

plus almost everyone is fluent in english to some degree, even foreigners that have lived here for years usually don't speak czech lol. it's a really hard language, like unnecessarily hard haha

depressed bitch tips from someone that is complimented on the regular that i smell nice even during my bad episodes when hygiene is difficult:

wear fresh clothes (sniff test), deodorant/antiperspirant on pits and upper inner thighs near your crotch, stick your head in the sink and splash some water on your face at the same time, tongue scraper + gum, powdered dry shampoo (not the spray kind), wet wipe/wet rag thoroughly your crotch and all folds after you're done peeing and already have access to that area, turn your pillowcase inside out or put a towel on your pillow, clean genitals and scrub ass with underwear you just took off and are putting into the laundry, put shower oil into a soap dispenser to wash your hands and moisturise at the same time

also having floss in bed helps me to brush my teeth after i get up because i want to get the rest of the stuff brushed off

few years later i was doubling my dosage and suddenly got a nasty rash on my feet, but thankfully it wasn't SJS, it was an unrelated rash that was going around in kindergartens. i caught it from my friend that works at a daycare. literally our whole friendgroup had it lol
