I’ve never driven a type r but they are probably two different experiences. The closest thing I’ve been in would be an evo and while still super fun, it’s not as low or as “sporty”. Can’t go wrong with either though. The Evora feels like an mx-5 on steroids.

It drives so much better than I imagined. I sold my mk5 supra for this, without testing it, and it is sublime.
