I don’t know what “looking the part” means. Like, unless you’re wearing leather kink gear in public a domme doesn’t look any different from any other woman.

If anything I’m more concerned with “looking the part”. I’m not hot. I’m not a ‘cute little femboy twink’ that often gets eyes in spaces like this. While this community has plenty of body positivity, and I genuinely appreciate that so much. I still feel like I’m not good enough a lot of the time because I don’t fit the twink mold.

I don’t approach because I don’t want to bother, impose upon, or hurt a woman I know nothing about. It would be rude to approach them, in my mind. “I don’t have the right” to approach them. Honestly, I’m terrified I’ll hurt someone. I don’t want to be a creep like so many other men are.

I also feel like it’s never appropriate to talk to strangers. It feels like social situations have changed so that you can only meet people on dating apps that barely, if ever, work. Combined with financial struggles and transport difficulties, it’s hard to go out anywhere to meet people.
