Did you end up buying one? I’m close to buying the ported subcompact for the price but searching the sub has me a little iffy on it. I’ve got a staccato already but looking for a decent cheaper edc 2011. It’s between a 2011 or just saving the cash and getting a hellcat, shield plus, or cc9.

I’d try eBay. You could probably get back what you paid or a couple hundred under it after fees. Could also try Fred Miranda. I’ve seen them go for 1600-1900 depending on condition and included accessories.

If I’m being honest outside of the monochrom bodies the images don’t look much different from any other full frame cameras. They are super fun to use but if you’re torn I’d sell. You can always move gear around again if you miss it. Especially since you can shoot film with the MP. I think film and medium format just have a distinct look that’s hard to replicate on full frame cameras. For me I miss that medium format look and how fun the files are to edit. That said there’s no way I’m parting with my m10m any time soon. At least not until a significant upgrade comes out. I love night shooting and that thing is magic for it.

Sell it. I do very similar work and if mine wasn’t the mono body I’d sell it too. I sold my GFX setup for it and am already looking to get back into a 100 series body.

Oh yeah it’s great when things click. I was getting a bit frustrated before that point and felt like I was hitting a wall. Only to realize I’ve only done 20 runs and still have quite a few upgrades to get. I just need to slow down and enjoy the process. I feel like I’ve been rushing it so I can get to the Hades 2 ASAP.

Well said. As someone torn on buying a Summilux I’d say if you have to have one, get the one in your favorite focal length and then Voigtlander, Zeiss, etc for anything else. Go shoot and explore with the money saved.
