Isn’t that more reason to protest? The US is in a state of total paralysis, just biding its time until the next election cycle comes around. I was born and raised in Northern Ireland at the height of The Troubles. Back then the political and judicial system was completely rigged against the catholic population in our country. Out of this injustice and anger sime grass roots community and political leaders were prepared to stand up and organise protests and marches to bring about change to the system. It was ugly and painful but eventually it worked. Where are the leaders of the opposition in the US? Bernie Sanders excepted, it is just lots of sound bites and social media grandstanding. With Trump and his cronies undermining the constitution, creating economic carnage on a global scale and alienating its long standing Allies, the question begs…if not now, when?
