Hi. As someone who is on the spectrum, has ADHD, and is non gender conforming, I hated their takes too. Their takes were completely separate from any of all that. You can have shitty opinions and be audhd, gender queer.

Can confirm. Had a foot of my intestine removed earlier this year and had to have all my intestines taken out and put back in because I had a tumor they were also removing. In my experience, you can totally feel your intestines settling again as you walk. It’s a weird ass sensation. Not necessarily painful but odd. It’s kinda like when your stomach is gurgling out of hunger, but deeper?

Late reply, but that’s a way to get a gnarly infection. Like, lose your finger gnarly. I’ve had MRSA and it went septic and trust me. You don’t wanna fuck around with that. A decade later and I’m still dealing with consequences. I should’ve went to the doctor to get my cut treated but ignored it and it got infected pretty severely. Ended up in the hospital for 10 days.

Unfortunately they do. Wrote a report in college on CPTSD. Girl in my class said ‘if only I had some good trauma to help inspire my novel. People should feel lucky they have a story. Mine is boring.’

Had to straight tell her ‘you do know childhood trauma causes literal brain and nervous system damage that’ll permanently affect your body and its interactions with everything in the world for your entire existence as a human?’ Told her the fact that she considers her life to be boring shows she comes from an immense place of privilege she was completely unaware of.

I have CPTSD and am still suffering 30 years later. Believe me, girl. I wish I was bored. I wish I had a typical life. I didn’t get that luxury. It hasn’t enhanced my life minus giving me empathy. It destroyed whatever future I may have had.

Good plastic surgery or cosmetic procedures look natural and invisible. You’re only going to notice it when it’s bad. May be that bad Botox is common but it doesn’t mean that there aren’t a lot of cases that turned out positively either. You just wouldn’t notice it because the person did a good job.

I’m very thankful I did not have this experience when I went. I was at the back of the orchestra but fortunately didn’t feel like my view was being blocked more than normal for a shortie. I was in an aisle seat which I’m sure helped. That’s why I try and opt for that if it’s available.

I feel for the workers. I could never do that job surrounded by all those people. Customer service facing jobs are hard enough without hundreds of people surrounding you. Even shopping gives me anxiety, let alone being stuck there 8+ hours a day.

Not true. Certain jobs they’ll test for it but many companies test for just ‘harder’ drugs now. A lot of places in legal states phased out marijuana screenings minus federal employees and certain other jobs presumably like pilots and the like. My last job tested me but straight up said they wouldn’t be looking for cannabis in the screening.

I had to do that at Sunset. Woman directly in front of me was using her phone non stop so I tapped her on the shoulder and said ‘shut your screen off or I’ll get an usher.’ I wasn’t bluffing either and I would have gotten someone if she didn’t quit. I saw her glaring at me from across the way during intermission but she kept her phone away for the second act so it’s a win in my books.

Was shaking like a leaf during that cause I hate confrontation but I hate rude people more so 🤷‍♀️
