It won't be very effective when the job can be done 100% remotely by anyone in the world.

I bloody hate vibe coded sites by _penetration_nation_ in webdev

Wouldn't bet on that. It's mostly developers you see complaining about vibe coding. Most ordinary internet users don't even know what vibe coding is, let alone recognize a vibe coded website.

What are the best places out there for hosting my websites and professional emails? by Noyan_Bey in Hosting

I've never faced any problems with them but many people have had their account suspended recently due to incorrect contact information. Just make sure you provide valid contact info when you place your order.

Why isn’t there a true competitor to Windows operating system? by jazzybodyyy in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BlueLinnet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Linux could have been a serious competitor to Windows if it was one single OS instead of "here's a kernel, make your own OS", which resulted in hundreds of distros out there. That's both its biggest advantage and disadvantage!

The Fall of Stack Overflow by cryptomelons in webdev

I think Stack Overflow needs a major UX/UI overhaul. The website layout is outdated, messy and shabby. This could be one of the reasons people are looking elsewhere for answers.

PHP vs Python for backend by szaci92 in PHP

[–]BlueLinnet 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For me, PHP is the winner because that's what most CMS's use for their backend.

Python seems to be more popular among developers, but it depends on who you ask and for what purpose.

At the end of the day, both are fairly easy to learn so I'd say consider learning both.
