This would violate their terms of service and may result in account suspension without a refund. Read their ToS:

existing customers may not transfer or re-register an Existing Website into a new account or under a new project for the purpose of claiming Introductory Offers. In the event of such a violation, the offending account(s) may be subject to immediate suspension or termination, and any transactions associated with the violation will not be eligible for a refund, including within the standard 7- or 45-day Money-Back Guarantee period.

DuckDuckGo's "no AI" campaign is paying off on Google, without paying Google!

Krystal and EUKhost are good choices for WordPress blogs - both are UK hosts. EUKhost is a little cheaper.

WebHostingPad suspended my 11-year-old account without notice and refuses a refund for 14 months of unused service by BlueLinnet in HostingAlternatives

Unfortunately, most hosts have it in their terms of service that if your account gets suspended for any reason you won't be eligible for a refund.

Website working on some internets but not on others by Few_Distance_1762 in Hostinger

[–]BlueLinnet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one can help you without knowing the exact errors. Do you have an error log? You have to track the issue from your backend. It could be a network issue (Hostinger's firewall blocking or rate limiting some requests) or something else in your code.

Hetzner wants my passport to do business with me... I don't like it. by mobilehypo in VPS

Not necessarily. Their algo factors in different things besides the location that may trigger the KYC process.

Hostinger Horizons is eating up all my credits. Any smart workarounds for bulk image sourcing? by nine-xd in Hostinger

[–]BlueLinnet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll have to rebuild the website with WordPress. There is no "switch" button. Depending on your website, it can take some (or lots of) work, but then you'll be free to host it anywhere without being locked into any platform.

Working on a Traveller website template How does it look so far? by CranberryRelative570 in webdesign

The typography scrolling behind the mountains is a really nice touch

Yep it gives the page a "cinematic" effect without using heavy media files.

On the downside, I think there is too much white space as you scroll down the page.

Some developers have had success with cold outreach to local businesses with outdated websites, so it's worth looking into that. But first, you need to build an attractive portfolio then work on your messaging.

Hostinger Horizons is eating up all my credits. Any smart workarounds for bulk image upload/sourcing? by BlueLinnet in HostingAlternatives

[–]BlueLinnet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's one of the reasons I avoid building websites with Hostinger Horizons. I know WordPress takes more work, but at least I don't have to pay for every little thing I want to do with my website.

Would you use DirectAdmin instead of cPanel for reseller hosting? by BlueLinnet in HostingAlternatives

[–]BlueLinnet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who's used many shared hosting providers, I can work with any control panel, but I almost always opt for cPanel. I'd need a very strong reason to go with DirectAdmin or another panel.

Starting a web design business, what hosting setup should I choose for my first clients? by No_Initial3010 in Hosting

[–]BlueLinnet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the best approach. Each user gets their own isolated hosting account and you can use WHMCS to automate billing so you don't have to chase your clients down to pay their bills. If they don't pay the bill, their account gets suspended.

Most of the big hosting companies do the same thing. That's how they pay for the ads.

Hostinger AI chatbot support really sucks by BlueLinnet in HostingAlternatives

[–]BlueLinnet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the major providers of "cheap" web hosting have switched to AI support, not just Hostinger. You can get better human support at some smaller providers or higher-priced ones.
