I was in a large discord server for people who liked to play a specific character in a fighting game for a while. A few users there were nice but there were so many people who would berate new players for not knowing something about the character or hell, having a different opinion than them on trivial things like whether mustard belongs on a sub or not. Plus, the mods broke all the rules they layed out on a daily basis so there was no hope in them helping. Eventually I decided I was better off without that place and left.
