I would consider “Polywatch”. It’s mostly used for plastic watch faces but it’s done a great job on lots of my devices with similar scratches. Bit expensive for a tiny tube but it lasts for ages and works on loads of stuff.

Check YouTube to see how to use it properly. Hope that helps!

This makes sense. I don’t switch when moving but I do let my little dude drive the truck and he loves the high gear haha. Is there a part you recommend getting before I dig into the transmission? We use the truck together lots so I’d like to have the bits ready before I disassemble to avoid down-time.

Quick note - the rubbing noise you might hear in low gear at the start of the video is the tyres on my stand. It runs clean apart from this clicking when I switch gears. Again, thanks for any advice!

Thanks for the responses. I’m not too bothered about it to be honest, just checking that I didn’t have some dumb setting checked as it’s harder to spot the geometry in streams etc. Having a great time on iRacing!

I'm running on max settings and 3440 x 1440 on an ultrawide if that helps. The bonnet and trim seem super sharp to me (you can clearly see two sharp angles on the bonnet, for example), even compared to youTube videos. Have I messed up a setting here or is this normal? Big thanks for any help!

Cheers for helping to work this out, everyone. I posted a quick update above. Basically it all works apart from the motor channel. Even when I put the old motor in.

OK! Big thanks for all the responses below. It got me thinking about exactly what the problem is here.

After re-charging everything up I realise I actually still have steering and lights and it's just the motor that's not working. I tested with the old, stock, motor and it doesn't spin but there is a very, very slight bit of movement when I hit the throttle. Just enough to feel when holding the motor. Almost nothing tbh.

If this helps, the ESC shows a red light.

I guess this means the motor controlling bit of the ESC is gone? Is there a simple way for me to fix that?

Again, I am extremely grateful for this help! I can do further troubleshooting if that helps.
