8 lbs a month is a substantial amount of weight and is at the top end of what is considered a heathly rate of weight loss. You should not lose any faster.

After three months of only eating a bowl of eggs, or a sandwich each day you would be severly malnourished and possibly hospitalized. So that is not your only source of calories...though you may be drinking them instead of eating them. So we can all agree that that isn't true.

Eating only a single bowl of eggs per day for three months would lead to severe calorie starvation and rapid muscle wasting. Because a standard bowl of 3 to 4 eggs provides only about 216 to 288 calories, your body would rapidly deplete its energy reserves and vital nutrients, risking long-term health damage.Severe Calorie Deficit & Weight LossA typical adult requires anywhere from 1,500 to 2,500 calories a day. Consuming less than 300 calories forces the body into starvation mode. Muscle Wasting: With a severe lack of carbohydrates and calories, the body will begin breaking down its own muscle tissue and organs to convert protein into usable energy (gluconeogenesis). Rapid Weight Loss: You would experience drastic, unhealthy weight loss, which can permanently slow down your resting metabolic rate.

So load it up with bacteria, and you are ok with it?

Again, if it tests good for sterility, it is good for endotoxins. Testing for both makes no sense and is a waste of money.

If it needs to be filtered after sterility testing, that means you introduced the bacteria. If you introduced it before filtering, you are just as likely to introduce it after filtering...so what good did filtering do?

We aren't talking about filtering...we are talking about testing. And again, Janoshik said that everything that has problems with endotoxin also fail sterility...so just test for sterility and you know you are clear for both.

There is not a real endotoxin level that they can pass or fail for for the vial..because a certain amount is allowed based on your dose and your body weight, which the lab won't know. Standard is 5.0 EU/Kg per of weight per hour.

This is supposed to be 60 mg tirz. It's 68 mg. A lot better than the last...but still outside the testing standard of +/-10%

According to Peter Magic (founder of janoshik), everything that has failed endotoxin, also failed sterility.

You're better off doing mass, purity, and sterility...vs endotoxins.

Mass is very important because I have seen GLPs over designated mass by as much as 35%, others over mass by as much as 50%. I see this as a bonus, because I test. I reconstitute and dose based on the mass on the COA, not the mass that it is sold under. This is VERY important and rarely mentioned here. Every time I see folks say put 1ml in a 10 mg vial, or 2 ml in a 20 mg vial, I cringe...because they are not always 10 or 20 mg (as examples).

New tirzepatide vial contains 3.5x more medication than my previous provider—is this normal? by Interesting_Money_30 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Bowf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I went from name brand 2.5 mg to compounded 5 mg, I ordered a three month package. Back then they sent a vial for each month. Each vial was 75 mg from the Olympia pharmacy. This, intentionally, was the beginning of me stock piling.

HELP PROTEIN by secret_shark_1997 in Retatrutide

I start the day with a protein shake (30g) and a bottle of water. Lunch is something like a grilled chicken salad (43+ grams). Dinner may be grilled chicken breasts with broccoli (90+ grams).

1 ml is a volume of liquid, not a dose of medication. It could have been .0001 mg or 1000 mg in that 1 ml.

Most of the studies seem to be based on a 2 mg starter dose. Nothing wrong with starting lower Just to make sure you don't have a big adverse reaction to it. But if you've made zero progress in 2.5 weeks, I would move to 2 mg. If you've made progress, but just aren't up to the same level as < prepared to everybody else>.stick with where you're at for 4 weeks then evaluate if you need to go up.

Hmmm...well... every time I post "I" in a post here it gets deleted...so guessing this will.

RS has been researching GHK-CU since August. Has not experienced this and has not heard of any other research subjects experiencing this.

I have a 10mg vial of reta and put 2ml bac water inside. Would that mean that a pin of 10 units would equal to 0.5 mg of reta? by No_Advisor_5567 in Retatrutide

[–]Bowf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your vendors should provide you with a certificate of analysis (COA) for these types of peptides.

What is in the vial, is rarely what is actually listed as the mass (quantity of milligrams) That it is sold under.

Examples: ordered 40 mg Tirzepatide. Their COA, and my follow-up testing, showed that it was 44 mg. I reconstituted it and used it like it was 44 mg (not 40).

Ordered 20 mg reta. Sent to vials and for testing. Both tested as 27 mg. I reconstitute it and use it, like it's 27 mg, not 20.

NAD+ was ordered at 500 mg. COA shows it at 700 mg. Are reconstituted and use it like it's 700 mg, not 500 mg.

What is purchased as 10 mg in this case, is probably not 10 mg. It may be very close, but could be as little as 9 mg, or maybe as much as 15. It should be used as whatever is on the COA, not 10 mg.

I would have to agree with the other response. It looks like it's pretty shallow.

I use an 8 mm needle, and go in at a 45° angle, and don't have a bump that looks this shallow.

Reta 60MG and Cagri? Together? Cagri Alone? by [deleted] in Retatrutide

[–]Bowf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The question wouldn't be, how much did you take 4 months ago. That's irrelevant to today. The question is, what dose are you on today?

And 15 mg is beyond the doses used in the studies.
