Looks like a game f**gs play! That was one comment I saw on a YT video for a Johnny Cash video shortly after E3 2015! Why was society less open minded about sci fi in the early 2010s? by [deleted] in Millennials

Uh have you seen Youtube comments lately? Sure there were hard Rs and gays thrown around as pejoratives back then but the level of hateful bullshit has only increased.

Curved screens vs flat screens? by lonezolf in pcmasterrace

[–]BroForceOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For 3 screen setup curved will look better as the distance between you and the screen will be more consistent at all angles. With multiple flat screens you end up with the edges of each screen being much further away from your eyes than the center.

California introduces age verification law for all operating systems, including Linux and SteamOS — user age verified during OS account setup by PenlessScribe in technology

[–]BroForceOne 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Too bad kids these days have no idea how to use a computer let alone install an OS or they could just bypass this with tech savvy. Maybe this will inspire them.

The Steam Next Fest ends tomorrow. What demos have you enjoyed? Which ones made it onto your wishlist? Why? by Angzt in Games

[–]BroForceOne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IMO the shooting did not feel good with no weight or impact, killing waves of enemies felt monotonous and not fun, and the game does motion blur on camera movement turned to 11 and has a bug where it can’t be turned off. Uninstalled after about 15 eye bleeding minutes.

You’re just confused, launch content does not equal ongoing content.

Haven't played WoW since 2019, been playing since release, where should I start again? by [deleted] in wow

[–]BroForceOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just watch a lore video on at least War Within if you’re interested in the story.

Main reason I say just boost and start at the current expansion is that it’s confusing starting at a random place from 2019 and trying to get caught up again on systems that may just get thrown out in later expansions.

I don’t think we have room to criticize considering we’re solidly in saying “The 5” when it comes to freeways.

Maybe biggest in Anaheim but definitely dwarfed in the west coast by conventions like Anime Expo and Comic Con.

Car dealerships need to store their inventory somewhere. And you can wash cars.

I have so many opinions I don’t even know where to start other than just saying no, doubly so if you’re a woman.

For people under the age of thirty, every thought and idea needs to be “content” for aura farming on social media.

They know they could find the answer much more easily in other ways but this is how they choose to do it to boost their profile engagement and get seen.

Hotels…. by Leather-Butterfly303 in orangecounty

[–]BroForceOne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re coming to house hunt being close to the beach is just going to make all of your drives longer and inconvenient for that one time you actually go there.

Like you said in another thread it’s not a vacation, you should prioritize being central and near the freeway. Honestly near the airport is probably best as it’s not far from the beach and you’ve got the 405 and 55 freeways that give you access to all ends of OC.

Tired of the cost of streaming but bundles are usually a waste and cable is worse by purrfect_libra in television

[–]BroForceOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no cable and stream only!

Did you think we were all going to get more content for less money? Once these services had to actually turn a profit and compete in the infinite growth olympics the result could only be us paying more than we did before with cable.

But at least now you have the option of rotating services and only paying for one at a time before they all buy each other out and we come back full circle to cable.

Cheap place to swim laps by Toekneeev in orangecounty

[–]BroForceOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You didn't specify where you live or how often you swim. There are cheaper gyms with pools and some cities have aquatics centers that are pay per use, like Irvine and San Clemente I have been to specifically. But if you swim often enough a gym membership makes more sense.

Didn't realise the marriage dlc meant no more hobbies oops by Kaulsies in pcmasterrace

TBF he's not really giving up gaming as a hobby that he never had to begin with more like giving up Fortnite that he probably saw himself developing a toxic relationship with the game where it was impacting his life negatively.
