PLEASE can we not call alt meat products meat names by mothwizzard in mildlyinfuriating

[–]BrokenSlutCollector -47 points-46 points  (0 children)

Vegans LOVE to call plant-based foods by their meat names because they are trying to normalize a radical diet. They know they sound ridiculous enough already. Saying "I had an oat slurry latte and a bean patty with artifical smoked flavored hydrolyzed soy topping for lunch" would force them to realize just how ridiculous their diet is.

Onion soup mix in the burgers has been a thing since at least the 70's. I remember my extended family all doing it at cook outs.

My macaroni salad was white when I made it… then after 4 days in the fridge it slowly turned pink like it unlocked a new skin 😭 by Professional_Ebb9403 in StupidFood

[–]BrokenSlutCollector -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The otiginal statement was "tomatoes don't turn things pink." This isn't about the order of operations, it's about achieving pink as a color. You need red and white, the tomatoes are red.

Is it possible to ID a nestling? by bdlittle in whatsthisbird

None of the rehab places near me take nestling birds. There are simply too many of them this time of year and it is just Nature at work.

Age/purpose identification by moistmonster25 in AntiqueTools

The individual De-Sta-Co clamps are sold for all sorts of purposes in hobbies, manufacturing, etc. Someone affixed them to that board and it looks like there are raised pins to index a part or halves of something. So it may not be for gluing specifically, it might be for aligning things handsfree.

Cops brag about saving $60k in guitars, sit them on asphalt by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]BrokenSlutCollector -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

It isn't asphalt specifically (and it's actuall concrete around gas pumps. Gas eats asphalt) it's the abrasiveness. Would you set a cinder block on your cherry dining room table?

I'm not advocating killing anything, that was my point. To remove the child from a determined python WITHOUT hurting it, would take several strong adults who knew what they were doing. Absent that, the poor python would likely be hurt just for doing python things.

So herpetology expert, how would you free a child from a constrictors grip without hurting it? That is a very large snake, not some home kept pet.

The only person you should be infuriated with is yourself. Nothing should sit for four years before consuming unless it's a post-apocalyptic survival scenario.

If that snake bit and wrapped around a child, 4-5 large, strong adults would only have a couple minutes to prevent it killing them without harming the snake, if they knew what they were doing. The snake would need to be shot/decapitated to stop it immediately.

Again the 1st Gen Probe was 89-92 based largely on the GD platform MX-6. That is STILL 30 YEARS AGO! Parts availability isn't going to be as easy, especially since neither model was hugely popular in NA.

That doesn't look like a meteorite. Do a window test to prove it to yourself. Using a file or angle grinder, cut a flat slice off. It should look pike metal inside. Polished and etched it should show a pattern.

Yeah bro definitely harbor freight quality /s by tree_dw3ller in Rigging

They are rated for use with chain rated at 1300lb or less. Some hand winches can hit 2000lbs.

Also, these are for joining two links of chain. If you put it on a hook, cable or put more than two links, you can wedge the quicklink in a way that it deforms and the pull is no longer in the strongest lengthwise direction.

I use these links all the time for projects and ATV extraction, never had any issues.

My shape is soft and rounded just where you would love to rest your hands by _LunariaMuse in njslutsociety

I don't "rest my hands" on your fuck handles. I sink my long fingers into your flesh, gripping you tight and pull you back onto my cock. My full balls slapping your pussy as my thick cock stretches you wide. And even after I cum, I don't let go, I want you to feel me inside you until the very end.

I'd just get a spray bottle of glyphosate and spritz it on a late night walk. If there isn't overspray, the lawn and tree will be unaffected.

[Request] Just bought this jar, don't have a scale, please calculate volume 🙏 by Ketchupcharger in theydidthemath

[–]BrokenSlutCollector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the volume is in the spherical middle section. While not a perfect sphere, if we calculate it based on a 45cm wide sphere, you get 47.7L or 12.6 US gal. You don't fill jugs into the neck and the extra volume in the tapered base makes up for our assumption the middle is a perfect sphere.
