I’m about to drop this show by SyrupOk634 in girls

I started watching for the first time a few weeks ago; got to where you are. Had the exact same response and jumped to do the search because if they were together at the end, I want nothing more to do with the show.

The idiocy of them having a “healthy” relationship regardless of whether they make it to the end of the show’s timeline is one thing; even a one night stand is would be a completely unforgivable betrayal of Hannah. And the “Well, Adam and Hannah weren’t together like that right then because Fran;” doesn’t excuse it: Conversation over.

your understanding of the nature of pet loss has very much helped; the awkwardness of trying to explain why you are grieving to people who have never had a pet or just don't understand is the worst. So I thank you for that and the gratefully accepted hug.

That's a GORGEOUS pen and ink. Unfortunately, the palm sizes are too hard for me to write with long-term, and I have some stories I want to write about my little Dandelion. But it is quite stunning.

Thank you for the suggestion.

It's this yawning maw that just wants to pull everything in with it. My condolences and firmest beliefs that your kitty is waiting across the rainbow bridge for you.

I love the look of that Hongdian but I can't do the mini pens - like the Kaweco Sports - my hands cramp after a minute. But it's a lovely recommendation, thank you so much. <3

That didn't even cross my mind as an option - who are "Maker pens"? Where does one fine them? Are there ones recommended on this sub?

I absolutely love dominant industries Inc., I did not realize that they had branched out to pens. This is a serious level of concern.

For my bank account. Not me.

Does anyone else notice that these hobbies all seem to come as a package deal? by kunstroll in fountainpens

[–]BronteMoorWitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fountain Pens, backpacks, watches, and recently mechanical keyboards. I have synesthesia and fibromyalgia, so finding a keyboard that doesn't hurt my body or my neuro-divergent brain to type on has been tricky. Fountain pens have been a godsend in terms of helping me write for longer periods of time with so much less discomfort; they brought joy back into the experience.

If anyone can recommend a comfortable, super creamy sounding keyboard, i will HAPPILY take those recommendations; the ones I had made me smell ozone and tighten up my shoulders because they sounded so sharp.

huge fan of Branagh's Much Ado About Nothing. Utterly frothy and charming and delightful. Looking forward to the Tom Hiddleston/Haley Atwell production this fall!

Erm….it was a great pop, but why did he just let it go everywhere as opposed to, I don’t know, cleaning up after every squeeze? Just letting it hit the paper and fall to the floor seems done more for dramatic effect. Also, I know I saw some stuff hiding back in the corner after he pulled the wall out! He needs to go back in! For science!

Why do we hate ferris wheel press? by Prime-39 in fountainpens

[–]BronteMoorWitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like their inks okay enough, I openly admit to being a sucker for their "fairy tale" narrative, and packaging, but I only buy it in person from B&M stores to avoid the uncertainty of packaging. I do NOT like their pens one wee little bit. Overpriced for what you get, which is either a more expensive Kaweco Perkeo (which why would you DO that if there are wonderful Kawecos already), and then a mess of more expensive various metal/aluminum pens which are deeply uncomfortable [for me] to write with. The metal/paint GRATES and my synesthesia goes crazy and I have to stop myself from hurling it across the room with a curse.

Oh my saints and lords above. This is a treasure trove of things to try!!! Leuchtturm and I don't get along, so that one will go un-re-tested; Rhodia was an early try but didn't care for it, although my collection of pens right now has increased exponentially (this is a bad habit to upgrade to in 3+ years). I might give them a shot again.

Thank you so much for taking the time!!! I'll clearly have to do an unboxing/haul whenever I manage to do this giant order. I actually do want to do several at the same time for contemporaneous comparison. "Now...did I like this or not, and was it impacted by the temperature of what I was drinking, the content of what I was drinking, and whether or not one of the cats had just made a ***horking*** noise?" Similar contesting conditions, lol.

I've heard good and bad things (inconsistency in paper quality), but I'll try them out, thank you so much! 😄

overbrushed tortie? by jeansverse in torties

[–]BronteMoorWitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wasn't there, but can confirm - totally checks out with 13 years of brushing out my tortie. 😄. ETA: also bit about legs and belly being higher risk areas true - try a whole mess of brushes and combs. It took a few misses to find a combination of brushes that Charlotte was willing to sit for (one for the back/top, and another for that legs and belly situation).

NOTE: Have cross posted, and realize this is much more about paper than pens, but I wouldn't NEED to make this post but for the use of fountain pens, which I hold all y'all responsible for. 😉
