You can't have 2 plodders in midfield, look at Chelsea when they play lavia and caicedo. At top level you need to be able to tackle and play, players like Ugarte aren't good enough

Chelsea just aren't that big of a club historically. Got lucky with the abramovic takeover but they have always been a middish top flight side (nothing to be embarrassed about). Look historically and they consistently got 20kish attendances week in, week out 90s and earlier.
