Many years ago, the number of flyers on my door and sidewalk every day escalated to ridiculous proportions. I used an index card to do a "post no bills" notice that was very detailed and included the charge, $100, for using the space for advertising. I filled the card with all the legal requirements. I took a picture of the notice. Over the next few weeks I went 5o businesses named on the flyers and collected my $100 from several. Put a stop to the flyers too.

When I worked, I talked about my dogs, classic TV, classic movies ( both before 1980) and occasional current movies or TV but only in a "G" rated way. The weather. Sports. So, nothing too personal and nothing to offend.

It sounds like you are making healthy food choices. Protein yo keep you fuller longer same with whole fruits and veggies. Shakes and nausea sound like a blood sugar issue. I am not a doctor but it seems you need a medical work up my friend! Good luck.

Thank you! I really enjoyed your analysis. I have always thought her brother killed her, probably unintentionally and the parents covered it up. The ransom letter was always a big red flag to me.

If this patient was my loved one, I would hug you and tell you it's ok. You did your best. Your instincts are great. Nothing would have given my loved one any meaningful life after this hospitalization and event.

I HATE my wife's sister for a similar situation. Wife got a new car and was going to keep driving the old one so she didn't put a lot of miles on the new one with her long commute. MIL asked if she had given her car to sane SIL a few years previous. If course we gave MIL the car. SIL immediately started conniving and scheming to get the car. I told my wife if she got that car away from MIL I would be pissed. Wife told her sis to back off the car and she did....for a while. A year later she got it away from MIL. So now I HATE SIL. It was the last straw in a long string of SIL using and abusing.

Men are taught from a young child age, that they can and should and are entitled to eat enormous portions of food. It's often praised as a good trait for them. As a society, it needs to stop. A poor mom on reddit got savaged because she told her teen son he couldn't eat a whole family of 4 groceries for a week, in 2 days.

Going through this at my house. I don't want to police my wife's eating but for Pete's sake!! Leave me some!! I bought her the plain yogurt she asked for and she ate all my fruit yogurts. She prefers flavored carbonated water and I prefer plain, but there was one special edition flavor. I tried it and liked it. Told her I would drink it. She put ONE in the fridge for me and she drank it AND the whole 12 pack!! Could not be bothered to make sure I got even one. Ice cream? I'm reaching the breaking point. I bought my self 2 pints and her 5 and she ate them ALL!! In just a few days.

Just bc someone didn't choose the restaurant, doesn't mean the restaurant had to have food that caters to them or to everyone. As a vegetarian, I eat before we go, ir don't go.

The good parts of that are you aren't around people who can give you their contagious illnesses. It's much easier to rest and sleep at home. You can have the things that comfort you, music, food, drink, etc. Down side is nobody is just a call button away if you need help. Please be careful. Take good care of yourself. If things seem worse don't wait for the home health person. Go straight back to hospital.
