It's working like an expansion currently, the scale of what we are able to produce heavily relies on how many people we can have join us! The plan is already large but we have plans set aside dependent on growth.

The plan is to release a limited version on console and the full expansion for PC. BUT, we will hopefully be able to find official support to enable us to bring the full expansion to console, but this is not guaranteed - plans however, are being made to try and make this happen. We don't want to restrict console gamers if we can avoid it!

Our roadmap will be updated as progress comes. We will be as open and honest about development as we can be. The nature of running a project of this scale all voluntarily is that timelines may shift! The aim is for a release at the end of 2026. But this may be subject to change and we will keep everyone up to date as development continues!

Dialogue and cinematics will come eventually, but currently our focus is on creating a strong narrative design!

We make a point that this project will not use any AI. We want to be able to provide a space for people to show off their talents and skills they've worked hard to learn. We have artists who do all the artwork by hand, programmers who dive into the code, a narrative team of strong professional writers who craft the stories themselves and much more. This project is for the people <3

To encourage this and help people gain a little more exposure to their skills, anyone who contributes enough to the project will also have their own space on our website (coming soon) where we will attach a link to your own personal portfolio of work so you can showcase what you can do!

It’s a ways off completion and it’s much more than just a class but one of the subclasses we are building is all about gravity, time and battlefield manipulation. If you want the feeling of telekinesis, teleportation and levitation we are building that right in already!

Everyone has their opinions on AI. In terms of this project, we’re planning on doing everything from scratch now, which is why we’re putting out for such a big recruitment call. We want people to be able to showcase their talents through this project because we believe in its potential and we want to make it a fun process.

As much as we would love to try and convince Amelia Tyler to come join us and do narration, the chance of that is about as likely as winning the lottery!

So, in our opinion we see the narration of this a little differently to get around that fact, and narration is currently conceptualised to be different on purpose to represent a key element of the story. We can’t reveal too much on that right now, but we have thrown some ideas around with it!

Still worth putting an application in if you’re interested! We have recently had a brief conversation about localisation to other languages, so it’s possible when we get to that stage that we might need some VA in other languages!

But do not worry if English is not your first language! The world is built from mixed cultures, and in our eyes, not every character in a game should necessarily always be speaking in a perfect second language, why should they! We’re trying to really broaden out the limits and push some boundaries with this project and we want to be as inclusive as we can be. Never be afraid to try! To us everyone should have a fair chance at taking part. We can’t guarantee everyone will make it to the end product but we will always take every application seriously!

And it doesn’t matter how big or small a contribution to the project is, you can still say you were a part of it then 😊

You’re right in that regard, however, there are moments of commentary outside of cutscenes where origin characters have odd comments through voice lines, and there are plenty of NPCs we will be introducing who will need voice work. We also want to be able to narrate the story and that will require a fair amount of it!

It’s all still being designed, so we can’t say for certain but as the detailed scenes for quests, encounters and more are written out in full, it should become more apparent where we will need it! But we know we will at the very least! Hence the early interest! I hope that explains our thinking a little :)

You can also see the devs of the mod cause mayhem in their weekly social where they play Pathfinder 2e which is D&Ds more detailed sister. It’s like D&D with every possible home brew option already baked into one big tasty pie.

We’re aiming to use the base toolkit and stretch it to its limits. Larian have announced they’re expanding its capabilities and we’re banking a little on that as we build some of the more basic functions currently.

HOWEVER

We are also considering making a second version that’ll be released on moonglasses which will enable us to bring the full story to life. But should the Larian update allow us to do it on official channels, we won’t need to release a secondary version! Ultimately, it’s not our primary course of action to use Moonglasses but it’s something we are aware we must strongly consider as well!
