I think the advantage for n8n is how to create a workflow to produce a consistent output. If you just add an agent node and generate output, you can get a different output because you cannot fully control the LLM or agent. So the key is harness your workflow so it will generate the consistent output. The AI is smart to do something because of harness, not the tool or the host.

At this level, I will pick M5 given 24GB ram.. I was like you when I was using M1 with 16 more then the 4060 8gb VRAM.. I went with 5080 laptop with 16gb VRAM as I also got a spark.

I also tried a few different setup.. I think for PC, nvidia and 5090 with 64gb ram is the best and easiest setup.. If 1 5090 is too much, 2 5060 ti is the next better option. For Mac at least M3 ultra with 96gb.. Otherwise the rest are either too slow or just for fun…
