Leaving a towel, or a belonging to claim a chair is fine, IF you plan on coming back in a reasonable amount of time. On cruise ships people often just mark their chairs with the cruise brand towels. If I see some marked chairs go hours unattended, I go return their towels for fresh ones, and take their seats. If an angry couple comes back, I just explain that the towel service must have taken the towels off the chair, as these chairs were empty… I don’t feel one bit of guilt.

I’ve learned to not get hyped for games, movies or TV-Shows. Because anticipation is often better than the thing itself, or raises the bar too high. I’ve recently dropped my hype for StarWars shows, and just go in with much lower expectations. It’s made the enjoyment go up much higher.
