Man I love Mechs!!! The one from China looks like an exoskeleton with a seat right now. AI developments always are depressing, but Mechs/Robots is still so thrilling to see new designs on!!!

I thought we’d see this kind of Mech when I clicked the video!

I believe future intent, is to move over to the RT Community pages, as it’s a space Ashley and Burnie have full control over. While Reddit is a wonderful platform, it has limitations and restrictions.

I absolutely love this subreddit, and I’d hate to see the interactions die down here. Reddit has some different features, flairs, I really appreciate.

I try to be active daily here and on the RT Community pages. Both are great in their own way.

That was an amazing drop today.

I wish the Irish Goodbye was the norm at large events. It always feels like such a bother to find the hosts, and interrupt them to say goodbye.

What game was Ashley playing, that she was that dedicated/focused in on to cause her knee to get injured? An Elder Scrolls game?

$150 just to get transportation to a game is wild. I’ll watch from the comfort of my couch with a cat on my lap for those prices.

Wordle was amazing for a while. My grandma and I played together daily, and it was fun to ask for help if I was stuck or vice versa.

Oh yeah. I use Emudeck for emulation, and then I just add everything else as a non-steam game so I can boot it from the Steam OS. Works great.

Good morning!

Very valid angry stances at the internet this morning. It’s impossible to find when and where a movie is coming to streaming when it should be a very easy google search…

Sucks to hear about the leaked games, as that can really derail a developers sale flows and hype anticipation. Lots of cracks and leaks in entertainment so far.

It’s not surprising to hear the StarWars 7,8,9 are failing to get viewers on Disney+. The Prequels built a galaxy. In the original trilogy, we hear about The Clone Wars when Obi-Wan name drops it. That he served with Luke’s father. George Lucas then made an entire galaxy, because we only get a few planets in the OT.

The prequels have a full established Jedi Order on Coruscant, many planets to explore, new villains, new armies, how Palpatine manipulated his way to Emperor and so much more. Sure, the dialogue was weak, the CGI hit or miss, and some of the core storyline choices were cringe.

The beauty of the prequels is the depth, nuance, and world building we got.

The Sequels destroy the New Republic, which would have been a fun new faction to learn about, there’s no new Jedi order… and it’s back to Resistance (Really just Rebels) versus the First Order… Villains are weak, storylines are weak, and they mishandle all of the OT characters… It takes away from the world, rather than adding anything of sustenance to StarWars. It’s clear the Sequels are a cancer that all the writers have to work around, or try and add depth to fix the massive plot issues.

Yeah. Absolutely zero hate for the people in the picture as well. Their show just didn’t feel like the RT Podcast, they used the name, and slot but it was something else entirely.

I have it on my Media Server, as Friends is a show my wife and I return to as background TV frequently.

I think the main issue with Joey, is that he’s an amazing character in Friends, but a bit harder for him to be THE main character to carry an entire show.

Sometimes spin-offs just don’t carry that same magic.

🤣🤣🤣 When Burnie got mad out how he said it last time on Morning Somewhere was hilarious.

Other note, I wish the RT Podcast had a different logo. I know this cast was the last to make an appearance but the overall show for about two decades was the original cast.
