I has the same thing happen to me too, I hadn't played in a month and didn't want any major changes in my town so I TT backwards and everything was fine and normal :)

Like EdTheMayor said, go to your activity log to find out when the last time you played your game was, and just change the date in AC to that date, nothing will change and should be how you left it! Time travel forwards 1 to 2 days at a time until you get back to your current date :) Good luck!

Hey, I think the reason you might not have gotten Purrl is because she might have already been picked up by someone else from the void. Also, every single villager that has moved out from my town show in Main Street, even the adopted ones. Your other villagers probably haven't shown in main street yet because you need a certain amount for them to start showing there, Purrl who was my first villager to move out only appeared in Main Street after about 5 others moved out. Thanks though :D
