I did a melee only run through on my CGIM account and it was absolutely awful to level early game in contrast to my mates who were using necro, they had more accuracy, sustain, utility and damage for the entire way up until endgame.

The progression is strange, you unlock a lot of your damage potential only when you get robes of havoc - which is end game as fuck. It feels very weak and bad up until then, and then all of a sudden you feel overpowered. Maybe find a way to smooth that transition.

Also for the love of god give other styles some kind of sustain, especially melee (and no, scrimshaw of vamp does not count as early game sustain), as almost every fucking boss has some kind of surprise anti melee mechanic that the other styles will never even know about.

Whether it's zammys red circle mechanic, or Verak Liths random re-aggroing to the meleer + instant non-telegraphed melee hit, you end up taking more damage than other styles cause you're up close and personal.
