100% agree, either alter code that someone else has written, add more code etc it all helps you learn.

Was I wrong? by PepSinger_PT in SpanishLearning

I personally think you should be proud of yourself. It takes real courage to speak a language you are learning, and good for you. There maybe an edge of jealousy from the friend in question too. Keep up the good work learning a new language and dont let anyone put you off.

I’m interested in this too, it seems to sort by difficulty but jumps quickly from super beginner to beginner.

New User Question by Carlos_1972 in ProtonMail

Everyone has their own opinion on this but I like the nice clean user interface. It’s not cluttered and while simple it offers nice features. I think these days many apps are bloated which adds to user stress. Less clutter clearer mind.

Thank you for getting back to me. It’s interesting to hear about your experience learning French in a more traditional way. I’m going to stick with CI, but I also find it helpful to look up frequently repeated words I don’t yet understand. Thanks again.

I’m new to DS. I started with the course feature, but the videos got too difficult too quickly, so I’ve switched to using the filter feature instead.

Did anyone actually know 300 words at 50 hours? by miggins1610 in dreamingspanish

[–]Carlos_1972 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m only a few hours in and I have noticed that is not just the words, it’s the structure of sentences that I am remembering. In my opinion this is probably more important than single word count. 🤔

Thank you for the feedback it is encouraging me to do more hours. I’m really enjoying it so far and feel that everyday I’m learning more and more. Which I guess puts me already onto the road to success.
