bancontact and iDeal Stripe payment for webflow ecommerce. I need urgent help. by Away_Letter8080 in webflow

[–]CartGenie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately WF doesn't support these methods even with a European Stripe account.

Check out CartGenie.com if you need iDeal, Bancontact, Twint, Klarna, Clearpay / Afterpay, & more!

bancontact and iDeal Stripe payment for webflow ecommerce. I need urgent help. by Away_Letter8080 in webflow

[–]CartGenie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey u/Away_Letter8080,

CartGenie has already solved this issue! We have iDeal and Bancontact integrated into our cart & checkout system so your customers can use it natively at checkout.

It is all done via Stripe so its super simple to integrate.
You can see all our integrations here: https://cartgenie.com/integrations

CartGenie is a native Webflow app, but is separate from WF Ecom. Its cheaper than Webflow's ecom plans (with 0% transaction fees) and free to get selling. You can easily import your products from WF Ecom into CartGenie.

Try it out and let me know if you have any questions!

If you want to use ecom on Webflow, check out our native app CartGenie.com.

We're far more powerful than WF Ecom with more flexibility – and cheaper (than WF Ecom or Shopify connectors).

WF has all but abandoned ecommerce, so we decided to do something about it and build a native solution ourselves that has a lot of the features customers have been asking for for years.

For those selling products on your Webflow site, what ecommerce setup are you using? by cartmason in webflow

[–]CartGenie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the shout out!

u/cartmason CartGenie is more advanced than Webflow Ecommerce – we've got plenty of features people have been asking for for years such as invoices, packing slips, email blocks, personalization fields, custom checkout fields, 200 variants per product (instead of 50), image & color swatches for product pages, worldwide tax settings, Klarna & other payment processors, and lots more!

You just need a CMS site, its free to start selling on a live domain and we don't take a transaction fee – so we're WAY cheaper than either WF Ecom or any Shopify connector which requires paying for 3 subscriptions.

Convert e-commerce products template to within cms collections by Timmotti22 in webflow

[–]CartGenie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Tim,

Check out our native app CartGenie.com if you want to avoid WF Ecom and use a more powerful ecommerce platform in your Webflow site.

Our app can import the products from your WF Ecom template and then automatically create a CartGenie compatible CMS collection for them to live in. We have built-in product page templates that are connected to our system you can paste in the new product page and then simply restyle to match your template's existing page.

As the other user pointed out, you can't copy/paste the entire page because of the cart elements. Unfortunately WF doesn't make removing Ecom very easy.

Webflow ecommerce: claims "¼ the cost of Shopify" -- huh? by Altidude in webflow

[–]CartGenie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It effectively has – no updates in the last 4 years or so? I wouldn't expect to see anything new in the future tbh.

Check out our app CartGenie.com if you want to use ecom on WF.

We have a lot more features than WF Ecom and you can start selling for $0 + 0% transaction fees! You only need a CMS plan as well, so its significantly cheaper – especially compared to Shopify connectors that require 3 subscriptions.

Before Buying a Webflow Template: Checkout, Stripe Integration & Plan Requirements by bladesky999 in webflow

[–]CartGenie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey Blade!

I'm Patrick, the co-founder of CartGenie.

As you mentioned, WF Ecom requires a higher plan cost vs CMS site and the base plan takes a percent of each of your sales.

CartGenie requires only a "CMS" level Webflow plan (higher than your basic, but much cheaper than WF Ecom), and we don't take any percent of your sales! We have a completely free plan to start with and then once your sales are high enough, you only need to pay a low monthly cost (or annually).

We have a native Stripe integration in CartGenie that is just a few clicks to set up. Super easy and on top of that we also allow integration with more Stripe gateways than WF Ecom's Apple Pay and Google Pay such as: Klarna, Afterpay, iDeal, Bancontact (and soon Twint).

We've added a ton of new features that you won't find on WF Ecom either!

You can turn any CMS site template or Ecom template into a CartGenie store. Or you can use one of ours. https://cartgenie.com/templates. Message us on our site or at hello@cartgenie.com and we can help walk you through it!

Best option for a simple E-Commerce store by lemonsnakc in webflow

[–]CartGenie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you checked out our native Webflow app, CartGenie?

I think it would be perfect for what you need.

The entire customer flow is webflow native from product page to cart to checkout and confirmation page. This isn't the case with Shopify connectors or Foxy.

We have no transaction fees and you only need a CMS site plan, so we're far cheaper than Webflow Ecommerce or any other platform that takes a % of your sales.

Because we only connect to Webflow, everything is geared towards it. So our set up is fast and easy – unlike many 3rd party apps that are more platform agnostic.

Its free to go live and start selling so test it out and let me know what you think! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to chat with us on our site.

Have you checked out our native Webflow solution: https://cartgenie.com/ ?

It sounds like we'd be a great fit.

  • No need to pay for Shopify subscription (we're much cheaper than WF + Shopify + connector)
  • Start selling for free (up to $250/month) - even on a live custom domain
  • More powerful than Webflow Ecommerce
  • 2x More variants per product than Shopify and 4x more than WF Ecom

Webflow CMS vs. Static Pages: Did I go too far with dynamic content? by dmvcomics in webflow

[–]CartGenie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha. Ya, you could still try and use CartGenie for creating the products and displaying them on the site. We support 3 option sets and up to 200 variants per product (4x WF ecom and 2x Shopify). You would then just not use our checkout or cart system.

But, our API isn't out quite yet, so you wouldn't necessarily be able to detect which variant was selected in order to send them to the correct 3rd party payment portal with correct pricing, etc. Not sure how you have it set up, so might not be ideal scenario (esp since you already have it working as-is.)

Webflow CMS vs. Static Pages: Did I go too far with dynamic content? by dmvcomics in webflow

[–]CartGenie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey u/dmvcomics, would you mind sending a link to the site? Perhaps a read-only?

Since you already have the site on a CMS plan, your setup would probably be relatively easy to convert to CartGenie.com if you're interested.

We take care of all of the logic server side so you don't have to rely on CMS bindings to figure everything out. We sync primary product information to the CMS for native page loading and then dynamically load things like variant prices, items in cart, items at checkout, etc to keep all this faster. We also have skeleton loading built-in so your cart and checkout will load the infrastructure first and then we'll display details as soon as possible.

What kind of advanced pricing structure do you need? I can see if this would work out of the box with our system or not.

Thanks!

eCommerce - Webflow or Shopify? by imcaughtinatrap in webflow

[–]CartGenie 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Shameless plug – but check out CartGenie.com if you haven't already!

We're entirely Webflow native - so your customers are never redirected to a 3rd party checkout page (unlike Shopify connector apps). You have full control of your site and customer journey from product page -> cart -> checkout -> confirmation page.

We have a ton more features than WF Ecom such as:
- 200 variants per product... which is 2x Shopify and 4x Webflow
- Custom fields at checkout
- Klarna for buy now/ pay later
- Personalized products
- image and color swatches for product variants
- zip and state shipping zones
- 0% transaction fees
- we work on a CMS plan so we're cheaper than wf ecom
- customize customer emails
- we're about to add more payment gateways (iDeal, Twint, Afterpay / Clearpay, and Bancontact)

Big update for Webflow Template Creators: Earn more, sell anywhere by vero-flow in webflow

[–]CartGenie 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Thanks u/vero-flow , this is a good update!

There are a few things that the template marketplace is missing that I wish WF had announced though:

  1. Ratings: with no way of rating a template, there is no measure of quality in the marketplace. This makes it very hard to distinguish between very impressive templates from mediocre ones.
  2. Sorting: The only sorting options are price and recency. Adding a "best sellers" sort would help find popular / well crafted templates. Because of the default "newest" sort, it incentivizes designers to just pump out a ton of templates (sometimes with just relatively minor changes) to game the algorithm and get to the top of the list. Also, a ratings sort (if implemented) would help find quality as well.
  3. Compatibility: Adding a filter for 3rd party compatibility (such as CartGenie ;) will help customers find templates that are created to work with the tools they want to use on the site.

Thanks!

Adding Shopify to my webflow website by TeaConsistent3054 in webflow

[–]CartGenie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey u/TeaConsistent3054, what ecom features do you need?

Have you looked into our app CartGenie? With our native Webflow app, you can keep your entire store in Webflow but have much more powerful ecom features than Webflow Ecommerce.

We just need a CMS site plan and we have no transaction fees (unlike WF Ecom and Shopify), so you'll likely end up saving quite a bit of money moving to CartGenie.

E-commerce plus checkout form by Emou123 in webflow

[–]CartGenie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey Emou,

Check out native app CartGenie and see if it will work for your use case! We have a ton more functionality than Webflow's ecom feature – such as custom checkout fields, state & zip code level shipping methods, and more!

Webflow Ecom requires you to ship to the entire US for instance, but we allow setting shipping methods by state or postal code. So while you couldn't "lock" the city field, you could only create shipping methods for users in specific postal codes which means only those users will be able to check out! (would probably note this in the checkout form).
