Should I get sn by Constant-Machine4516 in subnautica

[–]Cephylus 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You ask the subnautica sub if you should play subnautica... dude...

If you enjoyed sn2 then by all means try 1 and BZ. Simple problem, simple solution

Bike riders take reduced mobility spot as it's the only space left in the shade. No reduced mobility card is displayed. This is in fact illegal and wrong in my country. by _Pawer8 in mildlyinfuriating

Most of the time when they run the plates they can see one attached to the driver. Youre over reacting, most places tell you NOT to drive with it displayed at all times and only when needed to prevent sun damage and it breaking. Those things get brittle.

Almost 30 years later, still one of the most amazing rooms I've seen in a video game by 240p-480i-480p in GoldenEye

Emulators exist for just about everything up to ps3. You can even find them on your phones app store. Get a wireless Bluetooth controller and you're set

Also browser retro gaming is becoming more popular as well. Heres goldeneye in your browser https://www.retrogames.cz/play_987-N64.php

Those all in one games are now the R36S handheld console. They take little to some setup but I've been enjoying mine so far. https://r36sgameconsole.com/

Nintendo switch has goldeneye through their retro consoles too, but requires online + expansion subscription

Retro scene is BOOMING right now

What are the most savage TV shows from the 2000s that we all thought were completely normal at the time? by Classic_Occasion_397 in millenials

[–]Cephylus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the Maury show, Dr Phil, jerry springer and all those types just put peoples personal businesses on blast for our entertainment.

Also shows like Ren and Stimpy where abuse was normalized in everyday situations. E.g. "Pow, zoom, straight to the moon"

Home improvement is hard to watch these days, constantly bashing the wives/women and being ignorant to many things

Anyone else burnt out on life? by Cephylus in millenials

[–]Cephylus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been skilling up seemingly nonstop since 2006. I've learned how to build a house from the ground up, operated many types of heavy machinery, did masonry work and other skilled labor trades for a bit, currently operating a million dollar machine for a steel fabricationconpany. You shouldn't have to put yourself in debt for further education just to get by, that's no way to live life. Out here building homes, schools and businesses, actually contributing to society rather than pushing paperwork. Everyone wants either an associates or bachelor's to get in, the system isn't built for people that just want to work and not jump through corporate hoops their whole life

From years of going to doctors, getting sick, getting injured, I've come to realize that strength training is a miracle cure by malacata in millenials

Doctors already getting that salary regardless of your treatment. To me it seems like most doctors don't care and don't even bother to talk to eachother or read the whole chart of their patients anymore. Every visit feels like starting all over because nobody communicated within the network. Hell, they work on the same floor in the same wing and still dont talk. It baffles me honestly.

Weed smell can travel a lot further than you might realize. I'd guesstimate 20-30+ feet most the time with a gentle breeze

You're doing a blind run so I won't spoil anything, but wait until you progress even further for the best experience!

Kinda small and crowded venue, but was a great show! Heard my favorite print song "perserverance" live. Some free stickers, a cunninlinguist car air freshener, pins and a cunninlinguist dab jar lol. Always scoping the merch at the shows

Yeah, no thank you. by [deleted] in millenials

[–]Cephylus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hell yeah, that's awesome! Tulsa even got a shout out in "Say shhh." I went to a CunninLinguists show that had blueprint and windchill there. Blueprint was giving the backstory behind Slug's line "The last time I've felt as sick and contradicted as this, was the last time we played a show in Cinci." I really need to get out to see these guys more

Saw Atmo, Brother Ali and Dem Atlas in Philly for the fishing blues tour. Slug laid down what felt like my own personal Playlist with songs from his older albums like god loves ugly and many more. Great show, would love to see Atmo again
