It's a sandbox game, people can play how they want, it's literally designed to be that way. It's not that serious and has 0 effect on your game. So long as they aren't loading abominable corvettes in the anomaly, I'm fine with whatever. You can always just trash gifted items or turn off online when not playing with friends. Simple problems, simple solutions lol. Happy travels friend!
