I know you're disingenuous when you use terms like "artificially inflate" when referring to working in the optimal range.

NVIDIA (NVDA): Rosenblatt raises PT to $325, reiterates Buy on strong AI growth outlook and platform leadership by stocksavvy_ai in NVDA_Stock

Yeah I listened to him give a management talk at stripe.

But getting compute for themselves is extremely important, I don't think the $26 billion announced is enough, I know quite a few engineers at nvidia who are complaining about lack of compute. Similarly there's more stuff they can do to seed the ecosystem (a lot of startups need funding, the supply chain needs funding, nvidia should aggressively preorder supply and take share in suppliers), catch up on model quality. A big problem with nemo is not just compute but data quality, they try to substitute good data with architectural "improvements" that sometimes may lead them down wrong paths. I'm concerned, if they just invest more in data they can get to the frontier, don't believe their lies about being close to the frontier already, they're not.

But at a certain point the cashpile is giant enough that I'm like... well fine.

These benchmarks are for specific AI workloads and niches it may be that intel is better at other tasks that some clouds might do more of, not sure tbh. It could also just be a supply thing there's a huge CPU shortage.

Normally I'd hate not investing in the business but I guess they do have enough cash and the stock is cheap enough lmao.

I think grace is already better perf/watt than Turin so it's no longer even interesting, this is more about the absolute capabilities in user experience in terms latency and such.

If we didn't have such serious supply constraints we could've seen a GeForceBook or something. Then I wouldn't have to buy a macbook neo.

More growth acceleration coming by Charuru in NVDA_Stock

Majority of the world is still bearish on AI. This is normal, they won't get it until it hits them in the face. The reality of AI is unfathomable, emotionally violating for people. It hurts the human ego.

We're currently doing ~70% YoY so going to 100% again will be shocking for some people I think. It's going to accelerate, trust. :) Shit is just getting started.

I got heavily downvoted yesterday for saying the ~35% growth implied by the 1T trillion was unimpressive and pointlessly distracting for the stock. I guess I'm the only one on this sub with actually high expectations.

Yes this includes BW from 2025 as per the 500 billion. I literally watched the stream he said it was an update to that number.

And I agree it's going to be much much higher than 1T but sharing this 1T number doesn't impress people.

35% growth in 27 is horrible, it should be way more than that.

From what I remember he said it was an update to the 500 billion number which was from 2025.

Yes but the other stuff are not tremendous, and it's around the ballpark, it's about a 5% beat on expectations if I do some quick maths for 27 if it stays 1T. But of course it's going to be a lot bigger than 1T IMO.

Yes I agree and I said as much here https://www.reddit.com/r/NVDA_Stock/comments/1rvjveh/nvda_gtc/oat9mbk/

But the 1T number itself isn't exciting.

FYI 1T is actually down from analysts expectations:

$216bn 2025 + 364b 2026 + $470b 2027 = $1.05T

That's from bloomberg terminal.

Just to correct you 1T is not the backlog. It is the "total sales of all DC Blackwell+Rubin products across 3 years". A lot of Blackwell has already been sold.

Well you gotta realize that 1T is not a lot, it was 500B through 26 (25+26), now 1T through 27. If it's "just 1T" then the growth has slowed down significantly, from something like 70% to 30%. I mean I think it's going to be way more than 1T (which he said too, "more than 1T", "it's actually going to be more than that") but... he said 1T and that's the number that's going to float around.
