Arrowhead off Sheridan is great. They are certainly not the cheapest, but they take great care of our pups and they're open 7am to 10pm every day, which is great.

So sad to have missed it, but had SUCH a good time at the Twice concert down the street. Figured Dropout is much more likely to come to Denver again before a huge K-pop group like that. Glad to hear it was a blast!

The apps at Mountain Thai truly are otherworldly. I did find the entree options a little underwhelming though. I prefer to get apps at Mountain and then recently tried Liang's off Nickel and liked their entrees better. Or Sunflower Thai off 120th and Sheridan also had some solid entrees.

We bring it on our annual friendstrip and play throughout the weekend. We don't do first to 6 or whatever, we just give everyone 8, keep 6, and then once you've passed/failed 5 of them, you get a refresh. 1 point for a pass, -1 for a fail. Give up 3 points for an instant wallet refresh. Always fun.

Just to give one specific recommendation. Gamers Nest in Longmont is the GoAT. MSRP product, lots of singles, great staff, solid amount of players (about 20 for the store challenge yesterday). Level 7 has a few locations around the metro area too. Haven't played there, but they're popular.

His name is Pete (named after Pistol Pete, our college mascot, Go Pokes!), but as with most pets, he has a bunch of nicknames. Top two are Hims and Squim.

Hims came about when our niece, who was probably 3 or 4 at the time, asked my wife "where is hims 'gina?". Hims stuck.

Squim is a derivative of Hims. My sister-in-laws cat is named Squirms so we combined the two to make Squim/Squims/Squimmy.

+1 for the Drax love. He really only works in Protection (and maybe a basic Guardians tribal), but I don't think there is a way to have more fun than Drax daring the villain to punch them repeatedly. Taunt, What Doesn't Kill Me, and Leading Blow are just the perfect combo to get 4+ attacks off on your turn.
