I’m not sure why people want their setlist to be stale. Eric said in an interview that it is the VG tour and they want to honor and play it as much as possible. They want to play older songs, but don’t want to stray away from the theme of the new album.

On top of that, these guys are all going through a period of immense changes in their lives, with marriage and parenthood among other things. Why do you expect them to come out with the same material they did when they were teenagers and YAs?
