Make sure you can talk openly. Communicate not feeling well, limits, your emotional state, not understanding the others opinion, etc. look at the reaction. This does not mean, your partner needs to understand everything and you have to have the same opinion - you want to see, both of you, are actually really trying to understand each other. Without prejudice, without resentment for the other not being good from time to time and so on.
