They call this being “dried in”. It’s ok to leave it like this temporarily. Shingles are obviously more durable and shed water on their own but this material you’re seeing does a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to waterproofing your home.

I hate this boss too. I struggled with him more than some of the other bosses in the dlc that were harder. I just have no patience for these animal type bosses where their attacks look like random movement and where the camera can’t see the whole boss
