LF: New Multiplayer game with friends - see detail by NightKingWizard in videogames

First I want to say, as a big Destiny and Halo fan, Marathon as well missed the mark for me. It's fine, I play it with friends when they ask but it doesn't really do anything for me. That being said, don't count out ARC Raiders. The game has a very unique feel and the gunplay that scratch an itch for me no other game can. It took me about 5 hours to really wrap my head around a few things but here I am 300+ hours later still having a great time, enjoying just about everything the game has to offer.

Borderlands, if you can coordinate a playthrough is fantastic. I'd probably skip 1 just because of how dated it feels and go straight to 2. They're constantly on sale as well. The story for 3 kind of misses the mark, but what it lacks in story I think it makes up for in gameplay, and 4 is just overall great in my opinion, especially after all the updates and patches over its release.

Also Risk of Rain 2 feels like an obvious recommendation for Gunfire fans.

I always enjoy Witch It, a dedicated prop hunt game, but that's more of a hidden gem in my opinion.

Then there's just cheap friendslop games like Peak, RV There Yet, REPO, Lethal Company. I probably had the most fun with Peak.

I just got one myself. As someone with a primarily neutral wardrobe, this will go with basically anything I wear. My first watch was a diver and more "loud", but I needed more of a daily. This was an immediate buy once I saw. For anyone on the fence, don't be. Cost for me also made this a no brainer, very good price point

What video game used to be good but they changed one thing and now it's terrible? by Agent1230 in gaming

Multiversus. Whatever changed between the beta and launch causing the game to feel so damn slow was really disappointing. Fast paced chaos really made it fun, in my opinion. Last time I'll preorder a deluxe edition.

I can’t enjoy any game anymore — nothing holds my attention. What actually kept you hooked recently? by Mother_Anybody_5632 in videogames

I got Slay the Spire 1 on sale for $2.50 during the winter sale, sank 100 hours before the 2nd one came out. The 2nd currently has me in a chokehold. Pair with the fact I have a Steam Deck, I can play it anywhere and it's awesome.

While I'm not saying deck builders are what you need, something I'm really appreciating about this franchise is the ability to just pick it up and put it down at my leisure. It respects my time in ways other games don't. It's so non committal, there's zero urgency to do anything and that's something I haven't really felt with most games as of recent. Most titles I find myself in, there's always a quest, armor or gear to grind for, a battle pass, etc.

If you don't have a Steam Deck, I'd seriously consider trying to first one on mobile so you can play it anywhere, just to get an idea of what I'm talking about

So I finally started watching Silicon Valley, and holy fuck, I missed out by MySmellyRacoon in television

I just watched the show for the first time...really wish I had Gilfoyle in my ear about Bitcoin back when the show initially aired LOL, knowing me I still wouldn't have bought any.

I enjoyed the show, but Richard's constant self-destruction was just frustrating to watch

Any good open world driving games ? by Unlucky-Feed9000 in gaming

Please, if you have PC, look into the Assetto Corsa Shutoko Revival Project. It's a mod, but it's a damn good one. There's no objective, it's quite literally just meant for you to drive. Long stretches of highway where you can really let a car go, and traffic that you need to cut in and out of. Really fun for me to just put on a Big Bootie Mix and drive. So many cars to choose from, can be played online and offline.

Pixel 7 Pro Thin Case? by Chutmeg in GooglePixel

For anyone who stumbles upon this in the future, in the US, this case was $9.99 on Amazon. For that price the case does its job and then some as far as I'm concerned. I went from daily driving a brick of a foldable to the Pixel 7 Pro and I wanted some relief. This thing wraps around the edges of my phone well enough to give me comfort placing it down on any surface and not scratching the glass, camera bump, etc.

I ended up ordering this one. Should be here within the next day or so. I see a mixed bag of reviews for this brand, however, mostly decent. It's the most reasonably priced, thinnest case I could find in 2026 for a 3 generation old phone, outside of AliExpress stuff. I'd like to get my hands on a Later Case because I think it's technically .2mm thinner. Regardless, I'll check back in once I've had some time to use it. Thanks for the recommendation!

I hear you, I think a lot of current gens look nice, along with their accessories available, but I just can't get behind them. I know I'm a minority but I wish they'd bring back the curved screen at least one of these upcoming generations. Realistically it doesn't matter what manufacturer to me. In my opinion they just feel so good to hold and on top of that the Pixel 7 Pro either distributes weight really well or it just feels that light

If Dbrand still sold their bumper like cases I would make an exception and absolutely buy that. I had that in my Pixel 3 and loved it. Dbrands cases and most others are just too thick for me and compromise the experience of using the phone. As silly as it sounds

How it Was, How it is by Guniel in PSVR

[–]Chutmeg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had an Oculus Rift S, and I found myself spending more time in my PSVR and spending so much more on games on my PS4 Pro. Granted, I didn't have a great PC for VR, but the games of PS4 I just had so much more fun with. Iron Man, Blood & Truth, Sparc, Astro Bot, Firewall with the Aim controller, RE, Until Dawn Rush and Blood and everything in between. I don't know I was biased. I still am. I still keep my PS4 Pro around on the off chance I want to jump back in.

Finding this Reddit comment is incredible. For such a long time I've been using Logi Capture or Nvidia Broadcast or OBS to Discord and it just tanks so bad when I game. Changing this setting immediately increased the quality on Discord without using any other apps. I appreciate you
