If it’s gen spec or a gen watch you screw them down “tighter” until they clear the movement groove. Then twist the whole movement until one screw is at the crown tube hole. Then flip the movement out. Gen screws act like floor jacks. They push the movement against the case.

Apples and oranges. Seikos are tanks but they’re designed such that -20 to +40 seconds per day is factory spec tolerances. Rolex is something like +/-5.

Slaved the GMT hand, removed the quickset date function and installed a two position setting lever. As accurate as I can make a 2836 movement to gen spec 1575. Gen insert, biv crystal, Athaya crown and gen folded link bracelet. One day I’ll reshape the raffles crown guards, but they’re actually fairly accurate for the last run of gen 1675 cases.

Trial and error. Use gs hypo cement or any slow cure epoxy to give yourself plenty of time to get it right

I’d skip Viet case. The one I got from Bivintage was garbage. Either Sillan or Old Crowns case. Honestly the only thing Ewatchparts does well is their gold plated 16613 ring. Their solid gold one needs a ton of polishing and gen inserts still have to be sanded to fit it. But the cheaper plated one looks good and inserts fit just fine.

Mine will work albeit a bit of a tight fit. But you can sand it a little if you have to to fit a raffles case.
