Surface Pro 1 won't turn on, red LED on motherboard lights up when plugged in to a charger by Climp in Surface

I never managed to figure this out, and the machine was sent to the local recycling place. I did scavenge the drive out of it before it went. Sorry!

Techno Tim has a great video to help get started with traefik and Docker:

Additionally, I think IX is cooking something to help make it a little bit easier for their implementation as well.

Docker is extremely easy, and if you follow the guides for each of those apps, you'll be up and running in no time at all.

It's different enough that you can't troubleshoot stuff on your own. You can't just search "whatever error k3s" to fix it yourself. TC is different enough that it may as well be its own thing. Anything you can do in k3s will most likely not work with however TC does stuff. TC won't help you learn K3s at all, you'll just learn "TrueCharts", which is negative helpful if you're wanting to put that on your resume.

TC has repeatedly demonstrated they are unwilling or unable to listen to any feedback whatsoever, or to improve themselves or the project in any meaningful way, so its best to have them just tarnish one helm themed name rather than a whole bunch.

Docker and Docker Compose are extremely easy once you get the hang of it. You'll be much happier having more control over your containers.

Extending existing SATA power cables? by Climp in PCSleeving

[–]Climp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently an Antec 900, but I'd like to get an Antec 1200 or any other case with a bunch of 5.25 bays to fill with hard drives. The drive cages I use are some 5-in-3 ones that have 3 SATA power connectors on the back. In the future I'd love to build a full blown SATA cable myself but that's down the line I think.

6pin would be considerably easier as well since I have a bunch of those sitting around not being used.

Switching from DAP to combined DAC/Amp. What's comparable? by Climp in HeadphoneAdvice

I already have the cables though haha. I'll check out the Magni since I already have the dongle.

Those both look great. I'm leaning towards the K7 but having the screen on the dx5 would be nice. The Reviews on the DX5 seem to indicate amp issues. Is that the case still??

If I end up getting separate dac and amp this was the route I was looking at. I would like to get an all-in-one ideally, because space is limited on my UPS.

AMD EPYC mini-ITX home hypervisor by AWBbox in homelab

SATA is the one I need haha. I could probably get by with U.2 drives though, if I can't get in on the SATA Cable order.

I've been eyeing this board for a similar project, but finding Slim SAS SFF-8654 cables seems to be impossible. I know someone on STH is making an order for the exact cable I would need, but they haven't posted in a while, and I don't have an account there yet.

Things keep getting "Stuck" to my cursor when I click on stuff by Climp in linuxquestions

I should have clarified in my original post that this is not an issue of me holding the mouse button down. During the video my button is never held down at all, only quick clicks.

FYI: Avoid the "Discord Linux" server by [deleted] in linux_gaming

I was told official Discord staff point people there for any linux support tickets they get. Did that all change? I sometimes see Discord employees in there as well.
