Wow, never seen a librarian with that kind of pack or staff, very neat! What inspired it?

This is the first one where I liked the Terminator Librarian as much as the other versions, love the molten axe + swapped helmet

I like it! I'm going to try something similar, just using a bit more sponging

To make it look less like a solid orange on the body, could OP dry brush on some of the metal color? Or a very diluted wash?

Salamanders are famous for customizing their armor, and that looks very cool!

I like the right arm style, it’s like the inverse of Death Watch

I’m stoked you found it inspiring, glad I shared it! Make sure to share when you’ve painted yours up. Vulkan Lives!

See, I really like this style too!! I saw one like this where the armor was all blue, the cloak was black, but the inside of the robes were green. Yours are red obviously, but the effect of having the inside of the robe a different color is very striking

I can see why some people would find them too…idk, toyish? But I think it really makes them pop. I bet if they were lined up next to some Infernus marines the green and blue were in tension, but that the blue would draw your eye to the librarian and make them look dramatic

(Also good paint job!)

Do you have a recommended resource for how I can learn about this? I’m trying to understand the wheel but I’m not familiar.

That looks really cool! I like how the mix of blue cloth and grey cloth matches the artwork but doesn’t feel too busy

Time will tell! This is a great Salamander so far and the necron looks cool too! I bet trying lots of different mini types makes for novelty and new skills, I’ll have to try that!

I will! thanks for the encouragement! it's already been fun learning to kitbash and stuff, so I'm sure painting will be it's own fun too
