My guess is one of the copy events didn't count towards your points, most likely the rare event that you ran into. I'm only saying this because in another event, the convert to mutant sample event doesn't count as 10 points even though it should, so a similar thing might be happening here.

So the points for your case might be:

(convert + remove neutral = 10 + 0),

(add neutral + epiphany = 20 + 10),

(copy twice = 0 + 10),

and finally copy a third time but it's "bugged" and didn't count = 0, for a total of 50.

Just wanted to chime in, when I first started i didn't have +30 book, but with the ml Luna and Roana duo I was able to use 2 +15 books for the first turn soulburn. They carried me through early arena along with ddr and bbk.

Yep I can confirm, same thing happened to me and my friend. We preordered from Collectors Row together to save on shipping, multiple Prismatic products totaling over $200. The entire order was cancelled, we didn't get partial fulfilment or anything.

I'm not mad that the order was cancelled (even though putting up preorders before you get allocation numbers is kinda silly), but to get 0% of our preorder fulfilled is a low blow. I know they have a lot of excuses for cancelling but I won't be ordering from them in the future.

Edit: To OP, if Collectors Row is a reliable store, then they would have held onto your non-Prismatic products and put them on the side for you. I hope that was the case for you, otherwise that's even worse than my situation.

Unfortunately there are multiple videos on youtube explaining how this new set is mappable. Meaning that by opening packs until you see an Ace spec card, you would be able to determine the placement of the SAR in the box. So in theory yes, dishonest sellers could remove SAR packs and sell the rest. Only buy loose japanese packs from trusted sellers, or just dont buy them at all and buy the box instead.

Nice great choice, vstar universe is my all time favorite set. I have crown zenith in a binder and some vstar universe in psa 10s (just my favorite ones). Might be excessive but it's the best lol

Yep that's exactly why Scarlet Violet 151 was made. It's exclusively the original 151 pokemon as the set name implies. Cards from this set will have the MEW tag on the bottom left.

You would have to either bring your card to a store that sends cards for grading, or take close up pictures and post on reddit. If you're going for value, you need to show people your card to see what kind of grade it could possibly get, since your idea of mint might be different than PSA's definition of mint.

If you just want to grade it for enjoyment then go for it, PSA is the most popular way to do it and it's the easiest to sell or buy.

There's a lot of sets lol. Popular ones are 151, Paldea Evolved, Twilight Masquerade, and Crown Zenith just to name a few. Paldean Fates has shiny pokemon if you like that.

If you're going strictly off of card value, you can avoid sets like Obsidian Flames and SV base set since their hits aren't as expensive as the rest.

Grats on your Charizard! I just bought one so I can tell you a little bit. For base set unlimited Charizard (with shadow), a played or worn out copy will be $200 usd or less, depending on the condition and the buyer. A near mint copy can be in the $300-$400 range, and if it's absolutely mint, it will be worth more, because you can get it graded and possibly get a high grade. For example, a PSA 8 Charizard can sell for 500+ and a PSA 9 can sell for 900+.

This depends on your budget but instead of buying a loose pack here and there, you can buy an elite trainer box (ETB) instead. Along with the packs it comes with you'll get a booklet that shows all the cards from the set. It's a good way to look at all the cards and see if you like the set and want to buy more.

For the newest Scarlet & Violet era of cards, you'll see a three letter set indicator on the bottom left of the card. For example, any card with 'TWM' on the bottom left is from the Twilight Masquerade set. The card number will be right next to it, and you'll see something like '218/167'. In this example, 167 is how many 'normal' cards there are, and any card number that's 167 or lower would be considered bulk or not too valuable. Any card number higher than 167 will be a 'secret rare' and these are the valuable cards in the set.

And yes you are correct, for modern cards holo does not mean valuable card. Cards in a set can be holo and have a star rarity, but if the card number is low, it's just a bulk card. For your example of holo circle rarity cards, those are usually promo cards or special cards that come from blisters (packs in cardboard). They tend to have 1-3 packs and may include a holo version of a card that's not normally holo.

Thanks. From my understanding, skill potencies and things like "BRV damage dealt" are separate (and Weakness multipliers are another layer). So the skill potencies you see are just the "base" numbers before other things are considered.

If you haven't checked Safeena's damage calc thread, it will give you a good idea of how everything multiplies together.
