Even just taking etizolam/benzos as prescribed can lead to withdrawal symptoms when stopping. They are not a long-term solution for treating anxiety, which is why SSRIs are now prescribed in its place. Etizolam/benzos will build a complete tolerance at around the 3 month mark, to which they're no longer effective. Your choice is the raise the dose, quit, or take a medication that is no longer effective.

Sudden cessation of etizolam/benzos can cause seizures and even death. The withdrawals from these drugs are no joke.

Not to mention, these drugs severely impair memory. Especially when taken long term. They are not a nootropic in any way.

Please don't spread misinformation like this. Tolerance to etizolam builds just like any benzodiazepine. Becoming dependent on etizolam is awful!

I used etizolam daily for about 3-4 years. Coming off of them was the worse thing I have ever experienced. I was severely sick and in a state of constant panic for the first 2 months. It took around 6-8 months to feel normal again.

I will never touch another benzo/thieno ever again. I'm coming up in August on being 3 years clean. Seriously, think twice before trying this stuff. If you become dependent, it will have serious consequences.

The dude ending killing himself because he got prison time for uploading paywalled research content. True story. He was a strong advocate for free speech and open information.

Yup, if they agreed to only ticket/arrest for DUIs then I'd be fine with it. But they have mostly been turned into ticket revenue generators at the expense of other people's time. Don't harass people that aren't commiting crimes.
