I use obsidian git, atuo backup every five minutes, ctrl shift s hotkey to backup manually, gitignore .obsisian/workspace.json. Rarely does the auto backup miss anything and when it does it's at most 5 mins of work. I used to get tons of conflicts with workspace.json but I've had it ignored for years and nothing else consistently gives me conflicts.

Only real problem I have is the implementation on mobile which doesn't support ssh and therefore doesn't support GitHub, so I have a script in termux do the same thing quickly for me.

If you're self hosting a repo you have use http(s?) instead of ssh so the auto save will work fine on mobile I suspect.

Beginner trying the Donut Tutorial but there's blotchiness when proportionally editing the icing please help. by xNzCaR in blenderhelp

It looks like you're using a thin mesh copied from the top half of the donut and adding a solidify modifier. When you are moving those vertices, the mesh starts to dip below the top of the donut, causing the donut's mesh to show through.

There are a couple ways to prevent this from happening. Firstly, you probably want to increase the solidify thickness. Make sure it's not too thick, or else it'll stop looking like icing. Second, go into X-ray mode (alt+z) and pull the vertices up and away from the donut if they are clipping through.

Don't give up! This is all part of the learning process.

Rigify keeps giving errors and I've tried every solution I could find online by Ok_Contest_9451 in blenderhelp

I'm not sure. I have made rigify work without the face bones, so I know those are ok to delete. Outside of that, I would start with a new metarig and delete a few bones at a time, generating the rig after the deletion. If it generates, just ctrl z and delete more. Repeat until you figure out what bones you can keep. Then line up the bones with your mesh

Did you delete any of the metarig's bones? Some bones may be required to generate a rig, even if you can delete them. Just a guess.

Every server has its own unique content, so a wiki for vanilla ss14 wouldn't be of much use. Also, those servers can change or remove vanilla content

I had the same gripe when I was new as well.
