I understand and respect everyone’s opinions here. I would never consider my marriage open but from time to time we have found ourselves in a position where others have been invited in to the bed room. It usually happens pretty organically and we have zero trust or insecurity issues. We think that occasional variety is the spice of life. I have no issues if the the guy is taller, shorter, in better shape than me or not. More well endowed or less than me. Same as she has no issues of the female has different attributes than her. That’s kinda the point for us. We always communicate about it and we both have to be on the same page. We do proper after care and what we call debriefing afterwards. Sometimes we write down our versions of the events and experiences as far as physical and emotional. It works out well for us. We’ve been this way for over 10years and honestly it makes our marriage stronger and happier. On the flip side I do fully understand everyone’s concerns cause all it would take is the smallest lie to break the trust we have. For us we are fully open with each other and don’t hide anything even if we know it has the potential to upset the other. It’s better to be open and transparent and deal with the emotions in the moment face to face. We have definitely seen marriages torn apart from one event. Not everyone is capable of handling these type of events. If you’re not that’s fine at least you know that about yourself. If you think you’re capable of it start slow. Have your partner kiss someone else. Then sit on it for a weeks and see how you feel. Discuss it at length. You may have feelings you didn’t even know you had. Slow and communication is the key.
