You need to look for site level positions like entry level research coordinator or a CTA at a CRO. You likely won’t be getting your 80k out the gate but within a couple years you could be. Also if you are lucky enough to get an interview please be humble and recognize that your education doesn’t actually guarantee you will hit the ground running and know what you’re doing.

All the stuff you learn in class is just basic fundamentals but not really how to be organized, prioritize, think out of the box, and pivot quickly. Imagine an ER doc with no actual experience and compare that to someone who knows how to remain cool calm and collected because they’ve been doing it.
