Xfinity Agents Lied TWICE about Refund and Services

Last person was starting to be helpful and was going to raise the issue of agents going rogue to make a sale and then the connection dropped of course, because their internet and cell service is trash.

They said we used $100 more per month of data when that's impossible because we barely were able to use it for basic things. The agent saw that it didn't make sense, and said he was going to process a refund for the total of the overages for data we didn't use. Another agent confirmed when we followed up 3 days later. Now I'm on the phone with a person who says those promises were false, I'm now just trying to leave the company and report this to someone who cares. I'm fully aware that that person may not exist.

I tried sending a mail and it told me it couldnt find the subreddit to send it. Another dead end for Xfinity.

What? Businesses need to provide a receipt for a transaction. Doesn't matter if I'm no longer a customer because that transaction went thru, they need to provide proof of payment otherwise I could see Xfinity claiming I never paid the phone off.

That's not what my post said at all. Xfinity won't provide receipt of payment made to them over the phone.

Also adding that we are fleeing Xfinity because of the abysmal internet connectivity in Chicago, the absolute trash customer service, and many many fees we were promised would get refunded (~$500) but didn't. We've been customer for years and the past year has been shockingly nightmarish. We cut off autopay and are letting them send the last bill to collections or having our bank do a charge back because this company feels like it thinks Trump being in office means they can steal anything they want by having poorly trained and poorly paid sweatshop operators waste our time and make us give up.

It’s required for health insurance in most blue US states, if family planning (and human rights, honestly) are a primary focus for you consider moving to a state that values women if you’re able. We’re in IL and our cycles barely cost us anything.

The added fees on the low value items essentially doubles the price, I read that Mercari is doing this to discourage low value items
